Mine does, and I only use OEM charger. I tried using Apple iPhone (1A) charger, then Blackberry (0.75 A) charger, both produces hissing sound. I have not yet tried the OEM Asus charger because I have too many charger, and also because Asus charger is output 5.2 V (while all my other chargers output at 5V), so I don't want my Asus charger to get mixed up and used to charge on other devices due to this, but I will try it later.
The N7 is still charging though. No issue other than the hissing sound.
From google, it says that it maybe due to interference or bad grounding. since my iPhone does not produce hissing sound when charging iPhone and so does BB, I can say 99% it is not charger issue, but it's N7 issue.
If it's bad grounding circuit, that's kinda sucks. How can the tab passes QC like this?
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks.
