I downloaded the Dolphin browser last night to try out, seems pretty cool, but, I think I noticed it is using more battery power than the standard browser. After having my phone on this morning, I havnt used the browser at all since I took it off the charger, and when I looked at my battery use it said Dolphin had used 17% of it, and had 10mins worth of CPU activity. Now obviously this is very strange, seeing as I havnt used the browser at all this morning. Has anybody else noticed anything similar with it.

I will check it out tonight... I have noticed that the battery was dying faster sense I installed Dolphin.. But I thought it was because I was using it more to figure things out.

Last night was the first time my battery has seen red so I wonder if that is the issue.

I have heard that the dolphin browser does stay connected at all times which may be the reason for your battery dying so quick. I don't use the dolphin browser myself since the stock one is amazing for me especially coming from a blackberry storm.

so i checked it today, the last time i've rebooted the phone was right after applying the OS update.

mine is using 2% with just about a minute of foreground CPU use.

i have been using the browser off and on in that time period.

seems to be fine to me
