Don't get mad at me for these pics!

Here's a screen shot also.

My battery lasts an average of 16 hours now that I have disabled NFC, toggled off 3G/4G when not needed and used mostly 3G. Very impressed with this phone and haven't rooted it yet.

I have noticed no difference in battery life by turning off NFC. Besides if I turn it off then it makes using google wallet a hassle ;)

Click on the screen % and screen shot that or this pic is worthless.

These are not great stats as I have been at work and not using my phone a lot. But on a normal day, I average seven hours or so lower.

Running stock - not rooted. Everything is turned on except Bluetooth.

Admittedly as you can see I watched TV most of the time but it's still impressive....

I understand you and know a TV isn't a cell phone. I did a fair amount of TV watching too..Gah!

Here's a good day for me. I was on the phone a lot today following fantasy football too.

The screen was barely on. I would hope being on wifi you could get that type of battery life. Nothing impressive about that at all. Maybe if the screen was over 30% that would be something worth noting but being only on 12% of the time is nothing.

Screen percent as a precised indicator of usage is folly. I can have my screen off and tether my pad for hours.....any one who critiques a app% shouldn't post, because that isn't a representation of battery life, right? Just usage. bleh

uum not having the screen on even if you are tethering is not going to use nearly as much battery as if it was on and would hence show a higher percentage.....

I've been able to get more than 30 hours, all stock, including standard battery.

Here's some from me. Light use, so nothing too impressive. Data off (currently out of country), wifi off for most of the time, screen dimmed. Made some text messages and phone calls, but not much. Did show off the phone to some friends for a bit, but otherwise fairly light use. Normally I can drain this battery fairly quick.

You may notice the screen shots were taken at a different time. After reading this thread, I decided I should put up a screenshot of the screen usage. My phone has seen very little screen use since I took the top picture, it's been sitting on my desk for the morning, and now its charging. So the screenshot of the screen usage is still an accurate reflection of the use of battery in the top picture.

I am pretty much done with this battery testing..... I already did too many times. :D Let me put what I have found so far.

1. If are on idle w/ screen off: depending on the background process, GN will consum 2~4% of battery per hour. This is when the phone 'REALLY' is idle. Some members had reported that their phones don't last more than a few hours even when idle. However, when they posted their screens, phones were actually awake!!! When a phone is awake, it will consume a lot more!!! These tests were done on the area with -100dBm LTE signal strength.

2. If you use the phone consinuously w/o much data: Like when you play standalone game continuously, your GN will consume approximately 12% of battery per hour alone. Of course, when playing game, CPU and GPU of your GN also will work. So, it will be a lot more in total. For me, it seems like my GN was using approximately 18% of battery per hour while playing. From boot up to drain off, I played the game straight 5hr and 30 minutes. Same -100dBm LTE signal strength.

3. If you use the phone consinuously w/ much data: Like when you stream Netflix or Jetflicks all the way, it will use probably the most battery out of your GN. Mine was consuming about 22% per hour. It played 4hr and 40 minutes straight from boot up to drain off. Same -100dBm LTE signal strength.
