Double check question: Return to stock for Comm Rom

I've been getting a few bugs here and there with Superclean 2.9.2. And honestly I've done a whole lot of flashing ever since I softbricked my phone in October and then Odin'd myself to EB01 to recover from it. Like I've flashed Rom after Rom, kernel after kernel, theme after theme. The one thing i've never done is return to stock however. I've heard in some threads that DI01 stock over writes a lot of files that some ROMs do not. So naturally I want to undo all the doo doo I've done to my phone in order to start super clean (no pun intended).

Can someone send me some very simple instructions on how to go from DI01 to the new ED01 Comm Rom that was just released last night? I know how to Odin back to stock, but I just want some clarification on how to go forwards to ED01.

My idea is just OTA update to Dl09, then EA28, then to ED01(official), then FINALLY root, install CWM, and then CWM the community rom. But i still need a little simple "how to" to guide myself, unless theres an easier way.

Thanks in advance guys!

**Edit** : also I'm voodoo. Should i disable lag-fix? even if im overwriting everything by returning to stock? I have JT's latest kernel

I went the same route, Odin back to stock, did not need to worry about Voodoo.

OTA updates to 2.2
ODIN the CWM
boot to CWM, wipe cache and Davlik then install the community ROM from the zip.
boot to CWM and enable lagfix.

Then you will be good to go.

So the community rom will root the phone?

Im assuming. I still am not sure if i should bother disabling lag fix before i flash DI01.

You do not need to disable lag fix as a full redo in odin (DI01 or DI09) will overwrite everything and eliminate the voodoo. I have done this many times and never had any problems.

I did the same thing, but flashed LandShark's ED01 package before flashing the commrom. Good to know that the commrom roots the phone for you.
