Downgrading to 4.4.2?

OK I am running a 5.0.1 ROM, I have tried a few but all have some bug or other that eventually becomes annoying. The 5.0.1 stock is rubbish hence why I stuck a ROM on, I want to go back to stock but not 5.0.1, 4.4.2 for me worked fined, when I used kies to try and downgrade I got an AUTH Error, I presume because KNOX is tripped. Is there any way around this?
