Downloading large files WITHOUT wifi (Sony z3), how can I get it to download with just mobile data?

Downloading large files WITHOUT wifi (Sony z3)

I'm trying to download a large file without using my WIFI, reason being, the wifi at work is useless and keeps dropping & i've got data to burn, but as soon as I turn off the wifi, the download pauses. How can I just get the file to download using my mobile data?

I've unticked the box that said "use only wifi for large downloads" didn't seem to make a difference.

Sony z3 using lollipop (D6603 - 5.0.2)

Welcome to Android Central.

It may be worth trying a Power Off and Restart after changing the setting.

Are you trying to download something from the play store? Or a Sony update?
