Downloading Photos SD Card

Want to download pictures from sd card directly to device Nexus 7

I've got one of these coming:

I haven't tried yet but that may work I'm not sure.

You will need to root your Nexus to be able to mount the SD CARD, not tried it personally but I have tried an OTG cable with a USB drive and it works fine.

You will need a program called stickmount from the playstore to mount the card, then a file manager like ES file explorer to copy the files.

Just an update

I plugged my digital camera into my nexus 7 via OTG USB cable and it automatically displayed my pictures for import.

Thanks I have one of each and this does't work.

You can download from the camera directly with that cord.
