Just download the update. Loving it. Need to try the normal launcher for a while before I get into Launcher Pro again.

I have noticed some of the editing functions on swype are no longer there.

are you completely bone stock? if not, that is probably why. i know for the recent GB update on the X you had to be; i would expect the atrix to be the same

any suggestions? the Motorola Software Update is not seeing the device, I tried to reflash back to 1.5.7 but RSD does not see the device either. (all usb drivers installed) phone works fine with stock ATT froyo. ( it was rooted before with gingerbreak and had Gladenable for sideloading but then i unrooted it and did the factory reset) thanks!

This maybe a dumb question, but have you power cycled your device to see if that fixes it?

stick around before flashing back and updating, for more information is my suggestion.

I pulled the battery after getting stuck on the black screen. That fixed it. Gingerbread is running great. Still no 1080p recording. Other than that its AWESOME!!!! It is like a new phone!! Thank you Motorola! I like how when you lock the phone it looks like it turns off. Unknown Sources checkbox, it seems a bit faster,looks cooler, the keyboard is much better(vibrates more when touched), new animations, VPN capabilities,picture links in twitter open up much faster. Im sure there is much more but this is what im noticing right now.

due ur scaring menow Imwondering if I should even try this at all.....Iwas going to flash to.83 and do a manual install instead of OTA and then try to root myself at least untill the webtop hack is available but now I'm having second thoughts.... *__*

well the phone works fine with stock .83 froyo, but: it doesn't get recognized by motorola Software Update application and RSDLite and it ends up with triangle and"!" no matter how many times i try the OTA or manual from SD card... WTF?????
i'm gonna have to call Moto tomorrow, I really don't want to exchange the phone, I hope they'll have a solution...

Did gingerbreak to root my phone and did not unroot before the update. Everything works but blockbuster. Superuser is still on it. Any ideas?

I think my phone may be defective... because other people even being rooted were able to do the update. That really sucks....

Ok OTA done I'm on GB now broke root so ill try the root method for gb on xda didn't have any issues.all ke apps are here.its ok but I really want root and webtop.Also the botification bar is blue and says att its so ugly I wanna puke.on the upside the phone is wayyyyyyy faster than before and it not getting warm yet.ADWfree works great with landscape.hopefully I can at least get root tonight and change my notification bar to black...and mayb webtop when the devs get it...

EDIT: okay so I got Root now on the official OTA from at&t now all thats left is some notification bar tweaking and removing the att logo and webtop so far so good also If you want the slider from gingerblur go and download the slider from the market

@Trevalkin: If you end up dealing w/Motorola, don't worry. Motorola has made huge changes in the way they are dealing w/Atrix customers.

Before, YOU had to pay the shipping to and from Moto, and they took 3-5 weeks to return the device. Now, Moto sends out a replacement up front, w/a prepaid return mailer envelope for the defective unit. All the anger resulting from the "muffled voice" defect brought a major attitude adjustment.
