Maybe don't dive to quick into Nova. Try out stock first and play around with the different themes and give OneUI a chance.

If you're using gestures I'd recommend going into the Samsung App Store and install OneHand Operation+ it will give you more gestures to add to the functionality of the device.

I did turn on gestures. I like the buttons too it's different than I'm used to u know?
I'm also using the stock messageing app. My wife has the S10 as well so the rcs works well!

I'm not going to lie, i'm nervous to leave Facetime and the bullet proof OS. I've had a horrible time with my previous Samsungs and actually vowed not buy another one but those were Touchwiz days and i'm eager to try the new features.

So....

Setup the phone last night, transferred over all my messages from my iPhone X. I downloaded the rain theme. So far this thing is awesome. I really enjoy the edge panel where I can quickly gain access to the apps i want or my favorites! Very cool feature. The FPS is working well, did my thumb twice and pointer finger once.

One thing I will say and it's probably because I havent stopped using it but the battery is already down to 47%!! I hope this is just because of the heavy use so far.

Let's see what else, I enjoy the buttons on the bottom to navigate between screens. Loving the notification bar. Haven't really been able to test the camera at length yet.

Any questions about the transition from iPhone to S10 please fire away!

How did you transfer everything over? I had to "share" every single contact via email from my iPhone then opened and downloaded from my S10. I still have music to do but don't know how. And I miss the double space full stop, really miss it.

I used the dongle provided, plugged the iphone cord into and connected both phones opened smart switch. Boom took like 30 minutes Id say

I havent noticed the double space period issue yet!

Are you using Samsung's keyboard? I believe you can turn the space twice for punctuation on in the keyboard's settings. It's been a couple years since I've had a Samsung Device though. My S10+ hasn't arrived yet.

Geez I haven't noticed that yet! I'm sure I will though loved the double space for period!

It sure does, thin but definitely installed. Must be killing the stores who love selling them when you first purchase the phone!

There is a setting in the Samsung keyboard to do double space period. Mine does it. I actually use the Blackberry keyboard though because I like it better. And it also does double space period.
