I also didn't get 2.0.1 exactly at midnight... I was checking for updates manually and it showed up between 2 and 3 EST. Hopefully the same happens here...
Just because it's rolling out... it seems to be rolling at a very slow pace. Appox 20 days before everyone will have the update.. hmm I'm not a fan on that. Haven't we waited long enough?

I'm not a fan of this either.. Companies like Microsoft or Sony can have updates sent out to every single gaming console (and I'm sure there are more than 2 million xbox360 / PS3s out there) at once, but verizon can't send more than 200k updates a day?? I'm callin shenanigans!
Look at it from this perspective:
These are phones. Say they are right in the middle of roll outs maybe 1/4 of the way done then someone reports that their phone got bricked then another person reports that there is some huge bug that makes the phone inoperable. What they can do at that point is stop rolling it out and re assess the software and make sure that these bugs aren't just user error. A slow roll out means more control if there are bugs rather than pushing it to everyone at the same time and bricking everyone's phone.
