It was never high res as default, gotta make it that way every time you watch the vid sadly
You can mark or unmark favs in your contacts........even without 2.1. Its that nifty little star in the upper right hand corner
i was on droidmod and it was default,so u didnt have to change it everytime. huh, wierd.

I will note that the Droid seems a tad zippier overall, pretty noticeable. I'm trying to believe that the browser is faster...but I don't think so. Oh, and you can now pinch zoom on the web pages which is nice.
Guys, not being negative, just expected that it would fix some previously mentioned issues, and give us the two added home pages...it was a long wait for a little bit of polish is all. Never lived in Crackland, so thankfully have no knowledge of that. In Palm land, we got no updates!

overall i'm very pleased, only a million work arounds for these problems, for favorites just make a folder, call it favorites, and put it on your home screen....using helix launcher for 5 screens.
i decided a while ago not to manually update, but rather to just wait for a rooted rom.
either way, my girlfriend wanted the 2.1 update, so i did it for her.
seemed to work just fine, have the new gallery, and new music player and news/weather widget but I don't see the new launcher. All this time I thought that's what everyone was waiting for. Did I not get a full upgrade or did we just not get it?

just read on the front page in the comments that it wasn't going to be included. what a moron i am.

Just got the 2.1 OTA update and so far so good. The only issue I seem to be having is when I use pinch to zoom in the browser the text doesn't auto reformat. However if I press zoom out/in it works just fine. Anyone else having this problem? Sorry if this has already been posted.
