so i'm having 2.1 market issues, first "google earth" vanishes, then "shake them all live wallpaper", then "social livewallpaper", who knows what others i can't see frustration....

I manually updated to 2.1, and ever since then, my battery life seems to have considerably shortened. Anyone else notice this?

any way to to remove the mic button on keyboard for comma, but still be able to swipe for speech to text???
can someone tell me how to go back to 2.0.1 because i am the only one noticing the graphics on the phone being lowered/slowed down?

Constant reset after OTA 2.1 update - help!
I woke up this morning to find the update asking for permission to run. I smilingly say OK. It went thru the download, then reset. Now I'm stuck with the droid eye and "droid" drawing just looping. I've pulled the battery - still no love. Any suggestions?
I had NOT rooted my droid, only had installed many aps - was running well before this.

Droid 2.1 randomly sends calls straight to VM
I upgraded manually to 2.1 the other day, I've never rooted or anything my phone was stock 2.0.1. Up until recently it has worked fine, however today I'm noticing a major issue. Several people have called and reported their previous attempts to contact me went straight to voice mail. I've duplicated this issue by calling my phone myself and having it ring twice, and go to voice mail.
The last time I attempted to call myself the phone completely cut off, then cut itself back on again. Now it works (for the time being). Anyone havign similar issues? My signal is fine, all but one bar is lit up and I'm in the same area I always operate from fine.

u are going to have to reset ur phone to factory settings.....then if it was installed correctly u will be good to go. same thing happened to me when i manually upgraded to 2.1. message me if u have any questions.
kinda crazy,but my phone is cranking fast, seems even faster than when i was rooted and overclocked. can go a day and a half on a charge. and im on it quite a BIT. I GOTTA SAY IM LOVING THIS UPDATE.
no,they are saved on the market. so u cannot get by the red eye? and everytime it hits the red eye,it resets right? right back to the red eye?

Honestly, I feel like the over clocking had a placebo affect on many of us. We thought it was SOOO Fast, but it wasnt really. I downgraded back to stock not long after using many different ROM's and I must say i always failed to see the difference. I love my Droid on 2.1
Those that didnt get the update, well, they manually did the update, its WELL worth it
I thought about doing that but it seems a little difficult and i don't want to mess up my phone.
So far I am loving 2.1 Live wallpapers are kinda fun.
As a whole it seems a bit faster and smoother. Also battery life seems to be a bit improved. I liked my phone before, now I am loving it.
