The options are in the menu. I would first try restarting the phone. If that doesn't work, try clearing cache and data in the messages app. If that doesn't work a factory reset should do it.

I hope I can figure it out. The default SMS scheme is hideous

Several days of using the update and still loving it.

My favorite thing about it is the slick UI. I really like the Samsung products, but can't stand the cartoony appearance of TW. HTC's Sense looks so professional and sleek. Now, I just wish the HTC hardware were as advanced as the Samsung products (i.e., the camera on the DNA is terrible). Also, given we have all Samsung TVs it would be nice to have them communicate.

Have u asked at your local Verizon office if others have gotten the update. U may have a broken phone. It's probably a issue with your phone. I have not heard of such a issue before. Sorry to hear that your phone is neutered.

I've noticed the WiFi to be rock steady now. Before update it was always dropping. Stayed in the same place as it always dropped and rock steady.

Love the new car dock. Looks nice, simple, and easy to use.

If you don't accept the update, it will continue to prompt you to take it for a week or two. I waited a month or longer to accept the OTA awhile back, and it eventually stopped. Blink feed can be turned off easily. The look of your phone will definitely change if you accept the update. Sense 5 looks better in my opinion, but I understand wanting to keep the look of your phone as is.

Is it possible to get back the old text messaging lock screen pop up? I liked that it filled the screen and showed a photo of the contact.

I finally have the update here and love it. I'm very happy. Doesn't look AS different as people made me think it would, yet different enough to be refreshing. The things that ARE different are different in a way that's sensible.

Two thumbs up here. More impressions tomorrow.. in particular, battery life.
