When your on a call, you flop the phone down and the screen goes from black, to lit up to view it or use the keyboard.
My old Incredible 4 GLTE worked but my warranty replacement one wont do it.
I cannot find an option for auto screen on or off during calls.
I have looked every where for this type of option and cant seem to figure it out.
I'm annoyed.
I'm sure one of you Guru's knows what I'm doing wrong.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have a screen protector on, or a bulky case that might be blocking the proximity sensor (which should be right near the front-facing camera)? Try taking those off. Also, make sure the glass in front of the proximity sensor is really clean.

I have the same hard case on the back of the phone as I had on my last 4G LTE. I just transferred it when the replacement arrived.
I do not have a screen protector and the glass is clean.
Is there a setting in the phone or is this sensor defective?

Not sure if there's a setting. On the Galaxy S4, you can turn the proximity sensor on and off in the Call Settings (which is part of the Dialer app), so check that out.
