Droid Incredible Feature Request Thread

Let's have a thread where we can each post about the things we'd like to see changed or added in a future update for the Droid Incredible. I'll start us off.

I'd like to be able to wake the phone up by using the optical button, in addition to using the power button at the top of the phone.

What would you like to see?

Other than that, it's near perfect in my opinion.

-Better FB Contact/Google Contact integration (linking is great, but it creates massive overlap, and there doesn't seem to be anything you can do about it.)

I downloaded Handcent from the app market. Pretty good sms app and you can change it so you can use the arrow/enter key to send messages.

I'm curious, for those of you that want the arrow button to act as a send button, what's wrong with the send button that's already there?

I would like for it to disregard "the" in a group name when alphabetizing music. "The Rolling Stones" should be in "R", not "T".

Its not a huge deal but it avoids an extra step. when I'm typing in landscape the send button isn't even there. so using the arrow avoids the extra step.

Consolidating the internal storage (8GB) and the app storage (740MB) so that we can use an SD card for music and pics and the giant internal memory for apps. Better than Apps2SD because you can use apps while your SD card is mounted.

Soft camera button, actually pushing the trackball until it clicks makes me move the phone slightly.

how about a send in landscape

Yes, would be great if we could use the optical mouse (trackpad) for the send in landscape. Otherwise the trackpad is worthless.

Also Take off Footprint. What a worthless app that is always running in the back ground. Maybe after I win the lotto I can find a use for it, but until I can travel 100% of the time. It is not needed, and just a waste of space/battery life.

Not a total solution, but you can flick the optical trackpad upward, to get rid of the keyboard quickly, so you can access the send key. Although that's not really any faster than hiding the keyboard with the lower left button.

It would be nice to have a more useful notification light of some kind, that's one of the things I like about trackballs

-4G version with front camera, 1.6Ghz processor, 1GB ram, 20GB internal storage (just sayin'.. )
