Droid Incredible Shipping?

Someone has received shipping info on a 6/4 order on another fourm. Is this the big shipment people were talking about???
Hope my 6/5 order gets shipped soon
 
since it double posted,, seriously tho I will add I think it depends on your area along with your order date,but looks like a domino affect because my order hasn't got around the ones ahead of me yet , lol and its 6/8 looks like 6/4's are up tho

Assuming the earlier post that stated FedEx handles the fulfillment is true, the post also stated that FedEx is the one causing the 5 day delay. If these assumptions are true, a large shipment probably won't expedite any orders at this time.

its still early for yall 6/3 I wouldnt give up yet for a shipping number , its just not going to get there this weekend

Assume nothing, and pray for them to accidentally ship your order on time or early. That is my philosophy.
 
Looking at some other forums and seeing lots of 6/3's getting shipping conformations and even some 6/4's and one 6/5. I'm a 6/3 and haven't gotten a thing. I think I will give them a call and have them explain to me why folks behind me in line are getting phones and I am not.
 
Gather 'round kids, it's story time...

I upgraded to a Moto Droid on 6/3, played with it over the weekend, took it back and used my 30-day guarantee to get the DInc on 6/8 (and have been stuck with my LG Voyager ever since because they took the Moto Droid back).
I have gone back to the store I purchased it at since then and been quoted a ship date of 6/30, I then called CS a week or so later and got a ship date of 7/9.
Today for my lunch break I was not all that hungry and decided that I would just go play with the DInc at the aformentioned VZ store. When I walked in, the store was like a ghost town so I figured what the heck, I'll have them look up my order for sh*ts and giggles. The lady that helped me today was the same one that originally sold me the Moto Droid and also the same one that did my swap for the DInc, and she has always seemed very knowledgable as to what is going on. The first response I got was, "It hasn't been shipped yet" (surprise, surprise...). However, she (and the store manager that was sitting right next to her) kept digging. She then found something (a date matrix of some sort I would have to assume) and told me that it should ship no later than 6/28. It was at that point I began laughing. Yes, I really did laugh in their faces... With looks of confusion they cocked their heads at me somewhat and aksed "What?" I told them the information that I have been keeping track of on this (and other) forum(s). Here's the interesting part that gives me a smidgeon of hope... She told me that as recently as yesterday they have had customers come in that have received their phones, and in some cases they have received them as many as 1-4 days early. This may be a fluke and it may also be isolated by some sort of shipping district/region, but I figured it was worth tossing the info out there.

Hey guys, at this point it's almost not worth even calling CS. It's just a waste of time. We probably know more than they do at this point. :mad:
 
Two days of circles

Nothing here either. I am a 6/3 order in Atlanta.

Augusta, Ga here. Ordered 6/2 in store, promised shipping date 6/23 for delivery no later than 6/24. Got nothing. Nada. Zip.

I started calling *611 on Wednesday the 23rd because I had not recieved shipping info. I get absolutely nothing beyond "It's a very popular phone and it's on backorder" before they refer to the delivery schedule matrix and say "Yep, it should have gone out"..

Today someone told me about them getting an internal e-mail about a extra 5 day delay on all orders up to and including the 28th.. THE 28TH HASN'T EVEN HAPPENED YET!

So anyway.... at this point I have no tracking info, call center says it hasn't shipped, no explanation, useless. I *DID* get 50% off my next bill on my primary line, so that was nice.

Just to underline my frustration, this is a family plan and we paid for FOUR Incredibles. Verizon clearly does not give a flying crap no matter how much you spend. :mad:
 
I second the "ignore CSR" thing. Just called 611 for my 6/2 order to central Texas, got the "system shows new phone" message, so mine must be on the way. This is ~12 hours after the CSR tells me it won't ship until 7/4.

With that said, I recommend the following method to estimate your shipping date:

1. Acquire a Mayan calendar, the circular type. Remember, they're good until 2012, by which time most of you should have received your phones!

2. Build a fire, and throw a live chicken into it.

3. Once the fire has died, remove any remaining chicken bones longer than a quarter inch.

4. Throw the bones over the calendar. Take the average of the dates after today that have a bone over them. That average will be your shipping date!
