I ordered my Incredible 6/5 early AM online. I had an estimated ship date of 6/25....I was very patient in waiting, just expected to see a shipping confirmation sometime today. I finally gave in and called *611 to see what was up and if I could expect my phone soon.....I spoke to the "Mike" and he told me that there was a backorder on the phone (no **** sherlock) and that it wouldn't ship until 7/9 or 7/21. He said that there were two big shipments coming in those dates and my phone would be sent out......You know this is pretty rediculous. Pay $200 upfront for a phone, wait patiently for 20 days and then get a rep telling you its gonna be 14 more days on top of those 20 at the minimum. I can't believe how terrible verizon is handling this situation. I even asked about cancelling my order and he told me that I would have to refuse the phone and pay a $35 restocking fee......are u kidding me? They can go f themselves.
I was very polite this time....I will give it until next Friday and if I don't have my phone in hand Verizon is going to catch hell..... I know some of you got credits towards your accounts, how did you go about getting those? Just raise hell or what? I've been a loyal customer since 04 I think that should have some type of impact on their decision?
