Droid Incredible Shipping?

Quick update, got a call back and the excuse was I will get a msg from VW tomorrow Fedx hasn't updated thier records. Should receive it in two days..

Not happy but good luck all
 
Don't recall seeing this on this thread, but I was told the request to port a number from another carrier was good for 30 days. I ordered to Inc on 5/31. Activated one the night I received it and the other the next night. The second one would not receive calls as of Friday 6/25. Today I was told the port request for that phone had hit 30 days so it automatically cancelled. The nice csr got someone on the line with us and had the phone activated and receiving calls in 10 minutes. Just wanted to give a head's up to those waiting more than 21 days.
 
Don't forget that inventories are regional, so a delay in one area isn't a general delay for everyone. So just keep that in mind...
 
I couldnt' help it, I called about my phone again. They told me that the most they've seen is two day delays and that my phone should ship out tomorrow at the latest. Because of my wait, he gave me a 30.00 credit towards a new case and screen protectors for my phone. This is in addition to the 60.00 in credits they gave me towards my bill. I would advise everyone to b*tch and b*tch some more to get a little bonus for your wait! It all depends on the CSR you get, if one won't give you a credit, don't be afraid to call again.

Isn't that the truth! I b*tched over the weekend and I had to get transfered to a manager who never called me back. I called to complain and the CSR I got gave me $25 off my bill without hesitation. Heh.

6/5 and still waiting...no confirmation yet :(
 
I just got off the phone with a rep that once again had no idea what he was talking about.

Ordered and Processed 6/5
Ship by 6/25 - Last friday.

After the rep looked over and read his "Sheet" for 3 minutes he said "Well i don't have a tracking number but your order should have been shipped last friday." - Thanks Genious

He then said "Now i see that orders that were supposed to ship up to 6/28 may have a 5 day delay. And it seems you might have been one of the unlucky ones. But you should expect to see the phone 5 days after your order was supposed to ship.

So 5 days from the 6/25 would be this friday 7/2.

Other than mumbling the majority of the time he did say something somewhat useful which was "Since all you guys have been waiting so long we are picking up the overnight delivery charge and just making it standard on every order."


At the end it still puts me in the same position as when i called. No where. But if it is true that we all are getting over night shipping regardless of order date then that is the only good news i've heard.

It appears some people may be getting overnight but not everyone. My receipt says 2 day but when I call they say I have overnight. We'll see. I might have them deliver it to my work because it'll get there quicker and I can charge (play with) it at my desk :)

Well shoot I paid in store for overnight shipping . . . . when it shipped of course. I wonder if I can get a credit for that too. I complained to one guy who sent me to manager and he gave me a $35 dollar credit.
 
Yeah I was now told the whole 5 day delay thing but was told they are not sure if I am affected.(I ordered 6/5 with a 6/25 ship) I think I am affected. My problem is I go away thursday for a week. The lady said you could always cancel your order now and wait for shipment again or hopefully it gets out tomorrow for wednesday delivery. Instead of getting angry I said I will call back tomorrow because if it is not shipped tomorrow we have a real problem.

Promised ship by 6/23 ($35 credit plus upgrade to overnight for shipping late)
Shipped 6/28 but by 2nd day so I called back and got another $20 credit
should be here 6/30 but I am off tomorrow so that is going to suck and I am in class all day Wed so I really hope leaving the note on the door will work!!
 
csr said i would have overnight but i got 2 day, my phone has sat in atlanta for an entire day. so obviously they take their precious time at FedEx.

i was given a $100 credit because i was lied to so many times.
i was okay with my shipping delay after that because the csr
when i ordered my phone went ahead and mimiced the online
price and went ahead and gave me my rebate instantly so i only
had to pay 199+tax and got free shipping somehow. now she gave
me the credit, so i got the phone basically for 100.

I'm so TIRED of waiting and it's only been 2 and a half weeks for me. I know HTC is probably scrambling to get these out, but I just don't feel that they care, and that's what makes me mad! The X is supposed to come out right when I'm supposed (allegedly) to get the Inc so I don't know. I have girl hands so it might be too big.

This is my first foray into "modern" phones and I'm having a bad experience of it before I even get the phone. I have a little flip phone that's falling apart. The back keeps popping off.

I'm just irritated. I guess I just thought I would be getting it sooner. It's like waiting for a ride at Disney World. The wait time SAYS 60 mins, but the wait is really 45, so it makes you happy when you get there sooner.
 
When I ordered on 6/5 I spoke to a csr first and he said web orders get priority. So I went online and ordered. It said 6/28. But then I contacted the online order department by email and they said "Orders where payment was taken on 6/4 & 6/5 will ship by 6/25".
I then called in and the csr told me about the 5 day delay, but then he said maybe by 6/28.
In the mean time I had a pending email from their online order department. Took 2 days to get an email response! They now said "Orders where payment was taken on 6/4 & 6/5 will ship by 6/30". I am calling in tomorrow to see what kind of credit they are going to give me.
 
they r telling us all something different... they told u that internet orders get priority and i ordered in the store bc i was told that in-store orders got priority! lol
 
i'm still peeved over the new 10 day delay I was told tonight............no email tonight so I guess that means I'm affected according to the warehouse rep.............I guess she must be telling the truth though, I see on a few other forums people are being told that also now.........lovely

The woman seemed nice enough, but she fumbled around for about 10 minutes before "sort of" tracking down my order. She said that "due to several factors, one being the (infamous) delay, your order MAY be delayed." My order is already delayed but I was hoping to get an idea of how long. She said that it should be at my house by the end of this week.

I look forward to seeing it late next week.

Ugh don't say that. That's when my "Normal" ship date is supposed to be and I ordered about a week after you. I'm hoping, wishing, praying that they magically get caught up this week and I'll still get mine when I'm supposed to.
