Congrats JKK! Thanks for the update. Glad you got it in a "reasonable" time. Sounds like it arrived right on time or a little early. Enjoy it and don't forget those of us you have left behind.

Few days late for me, too. But hey, I have no idea how I dodged the 7 day delay thing, when some 6/4s and 6/3s got hit with it.

I'm happy. Its definitely the best phone I've ever had.

Unfortunately for me and many others, i still have a few more weeks left of waiting.. i only hope my BB 8330 can last that long

Just a quick question, did any 6/8s or 6/9s get shipping info? If so, where are you located? The latest I have seen is a few 6/7s. I'm a 6/9 myself and it did not ship today. Thinking about making my first call ever to Verizon tomorrow...

Note: I have yet to receive any sort of e-mail or phone call or text message regarding any sort of extra delay or anything about this $25 gift card. Wonder why this seems to be a selective occurrence. Though, after fallowing this form for the past 21 days, I guess I shouldn't be so surprised seeing how uneducated Verizon employees seem to be.

Ordered 6/08 Delivery date was 28th got e-mail yesterday saying up to 7 more days will get $25 gift card. Hoping get by 4th.

Ordered 6/4-6/5. Was told shipping day was 25th, they were 4 days late. Shipped the 29th. Got an email that said orders that had a shipping date of the 28th of June or before might expected delays of anywhere up to 7 days and are giving those people $25 gift card as an apology.
My Fedex tracking info says mine is arriving tomorrow. Fedex usually delievers before noon in my area of town ( South Austin, Tx )

Sorry I don't sound more enthusiastic but i just rode my bike the 10 miles home from work after a 12 hour day and i got up at 4am and it is now 11:24 pm

Order 6/5, payment taken 6/6, took it in the rear from verizon with no lube since then, shipping notification 6/30, Delivery by 3pm 7/1. yay (drinks a beer and falls asleep sitting up).

I'm just happy that it wasn't the full 7 day delay. It is still too long. But I'm just glad it is this week.

Yep vzw suks they just stalling for time .Theres too many long pauses like they are having to think what to make up next . They probably got a guide to go by(by now) to try and convince us its true .All the stuff what they are telling us ,pfft Riggggghttttttt "like I believe you Mr./Ms. CS Rep you would never lie" ,

Exactly. It's certainly not Verizon's fault there are supply issues, but the way they've handled it is inexcusable.

They were WAY too optimistic when estimating arrival time just to lock in the sale. Now, they don't want to have to deal with the aftermath...they just take the money and run.

I agree its wasn't vzw fault(on the screens) and kinda felt sorry for them for taking all the heat.I think if they would just be up front and honest more people would understand too.They fact as you said about taking the money and running is true to they do seem money hungry.

That is why I think you will never see this happen again. (for example look how they are doing the Droid-X)But that doesnt excuse how vzw blundered the whole deal up as well.

I think I posted that. I've been feeling like that a lot lately waiting for my DInc. I was seriously thinking of switching to the X but then a guy I work with came over with his Droid Incredible (giggity) and I am pumped again.

i do completely agree that verizon hasnt handled the situation to the best they could have and they they arent at fault for the supply. there were other options for them in dealing with us, the patient people that purchased the DInc, but this is how they dealt with it and well ive come to terms with verizon dealing with stuff like idiots but i can live with it sometimes for the great 3G and service coverage that is uncomparable. A few days late seems to be the trend, surely hoping it wont be the full 7, this is day 2 late for me....23 days overall

Yeah, and they promised me overnight shipping...as if that's going to really matter if the phone is three months late.
