7/2/10 - Incredible ordered from Store
Week of July 26- Estimated ship date
somebody. help me, i cant wait anymore. i watched for 24 hours of youtube reviews, even read over possible problems for the incredible so if i come across it i know how to fix it, even looked for a car mount and 16gb micro sd, even watch heads up between iphone 4 / htc hd2 / evo 4g / 3gs, even bookmarked 5+ sites that shows me the best apps to download for it. i hope it comes next week. any more july 2nd people out there? its lonely.

The best thing I could tell you is to try and not think about it so much so when you finally get your DInc it'll feel like a surprise! And trust me, I was about to go crazy if I didn't get my notice today lol.
On the bright side, you might see a notice by next Friday at the rate they're shipping them out.
Oh, and about those apps. You can login to appbrain.com and start queueing them up so when your phone arrives, you just need to install the appbrain app from the marketplace and follow the prompts.
Fellow 7/2'er here. Luckily, my wife is due with our second child on Monday, so that'll keep me distracted for a while

canceled my 2 Incredibles, got 2 Moto-Xs
Well, I gave in. I could not wait for my Incredible to arrive any longer. I canceled my order for 2 Incredibles to get the MotoX. I feel bad, like I'm abandoning a friend that is on their way from a long trip to see me.
But, on the bright side, I just opened up 2 more Incredibles (mine and my wife's) for you guys/gals to get. Kind of ironic since I was hoping that others would do the same so that I could get my Incredble sooner than expected.
Thanks to everyone for posting your shipping success stories here. It helped get me through this "incredibly" long 3 weeks of waiting. Believe me, I've been checking this thread 3 or 4 times a day (or was than an hour, hum...) to catch glimmers of hope for the arrival of your Incredible.
For those contemplating canceling or switching from the Incredible to the Moto-X I can offer these observations (see below) after 24 hours of use (no, the battery did not last that long).
If you are dead set on getting the Incredible then you don't really need to read the comments at the end.
Hope this helps. Not trying to sway anyone away, just trying to offer my observations. I really hope that 2 people enjoy the 2 Incredibles I just gave up. Take care of them for me.

24 hour "burn in" period observations:
- The screen really is not dramatically that much bigger. This was a big concern of mine. I completely dismissed the Moto-X based on seeing comparisons on-line. Seeing both side by side in my hands helped.
- The Moto-X screen is fairly easy to read in sunlight. Although the sales guy owned both an Incredible and a Moto-X with an anti glare screen protectors and he said that helps the Incredible a lot in sunlight (not sure which brand has anti-glare).
- It seems a little slimmer than the Incredible and really fits in my pocket well. I was surprised it actually fits better than my old flip phone. I was concerned about the "big camera bulge" at one end but is not really that big and actually aids in holding the phone, gives it a nice finger rest.
- I thought that the larger size would look really ridiculous when holding it up to my ear to make a phone call. But, my hand hides most of the phone. And no one has laughed at me yet, at least not in front of me that is.
- Battery life seems to be pretty good. It has some decent battery management schemes to help throttle services (Wifi, Bluetooth, cell service, screen, etc) down at times.
- The Moto-X has re-sizable widgets from very small to full screen so you can fit several on one screen; the widgets on the Incredible (to my knowledge) take up a whole screen or a good part of it in some cases.
- Froyo (android 2.2) - Moto-X...August, Incredible...maybe by Christmas is what I have read. Nuff said there.

By pick it up from FedEx, you mean from the FedEx office before it goes out for delivery to your home?
Yeah, I've heard of people attempting that (perhaps even in this thread... [too lazy to look]) and from my understanding... it ain't gonna happen. Verizon can't tell them to release it to you and they can't release it to you, even if you're the recipient of the package. I forget why.
Hey, if you manage to do it, power to you! Otherwise, good luck on that last hump of the wait. We're all feeling that aggravating impatience (except those who have theirs of course) and we all feel for you (at least I do).

I missed this earlier. Yes, you have it, which makes me feel the burn of envy (I admit)... HOWEVER, should something happen to your phone, it can't be insured by VZW as you bought it from a third-party source. So instead of a $50 fee it'll be full retail price to replace it. I, personally, could not take that risk.

daethwing188 I meant I ordered the phone accessories, like the case, screen protector, etc through amazon. I ordered the actual phone from Verizon and am still waiting (7/2 ordered). I agree with you which is why I kept my Verizon order. I just meant that I ordered my accessories a few weeks after the phone and all my accessories got here within 2 days. That makes the wait for the phone even worse.

I sent an email to VZW customer service asking if those ship dates applied to me or just to those who ordered on the date that the shipping time was posted. The response email stated that my order was scheduled to ship on July 27th. Now I'm hopefull that it may ship earlier and I soon have my Incredible in hand. Maybe I'll go to the Verizon store and play with one today.

@platodd haha once you get urs, i know mine is either out for shipping or is very close on the way! im dying to get my phone because my friend got his sleek sexy iphone 4! but im a big red kind of guy, and the DINC is incredible. 
haha im just thinking how much this phone can do for me since im taking 3 large lecture courses with 200+ students in the fall. i dont need to carry my huge dell laptop to class anymore!

Looks like they are really starting to get through the backlog.
