Update from VZW CSR as of a few minutes ago:
I live in UTAH, ordered 5/14, FedEx 2 Day.
The rep I just spoke to said my Dinc will ship by/no later than 6/3. He also confirmed I had 2 Day shipping, but said VZW is bumping orders up to FedEx overnight since the phones are delayed. Either way, my phone will ship 6/3, and if it ships overnight I will have it 6/4, but if it ships 2 Day I will have it 6/7 since FedEx doesn't provide Saturday delivery.
The rep told me the ship dates are pretty firm, so he has confidence in the ship date he told me.

Happy waiting everyone! I have 8 days left ...

I hate it when Fedex sends a package to weird places! It went from West Chester to Newark, NJ. Just to come back to PA? Anyone know why they do this?

For the same reason that sometimes to fly from Detroit to DC you may need a layover in Atlanta. Depends on the hubs they use.

I called Verizon to check on the status of my order today.

I placed the order in store on 5/20 and the rep told me I would have it by 6/8.

Today Verizon CS told me it will NOT ship before 5/10.

I think a good amount shipped Monday so people would be getting them Tuesday or Wednesday.

Now we have a lot shipping today so either tomorrow or the Tuesday.

Then again, if you got your phone you'd probably be distracted

For people who don't want to wait till Tuesday like me I just called FedEx and if the package gets to your local distribution center and is all ready for delivery out on Tuesday you can go and pick it up Friday. Some centers are even open Saturday so there's a good chance it'll be ready by then. Just track your package and then call FedEx's 1-800 number and they can tell you if you'll be able to go get it.

I was having trouble accessing online, so I foolishly waited until Saturday 5/15 to phone in my order. I just called VZ again and the friendly sales rep (also waiting for her inc) said that for a 5/17 order the ship date is 6/7. And that the delay is because they are waiting on glass.

Interesting that that is the day for a phone announcement by some kind of fruit company.
