Droid Incredible Shipping?

i had a dream that Verizon stores were fully stocked with incredibles. what a fantasy.

ordered: 6/7 online (processed same day)
shipping date: 6/28

about 2 weeks down about 1 week to go..

my receipt states that it will be overnight shipped.. does that mean it will be?

Just got a weird phone call with a recorded message from ups stating I will have package delivered tomorrow that requires signature. I am expecting my Inc this week but I have never had anything delivered by ups from verizon its alway fedex and I have never recd a phone call either prior to delivery. Has anyone else gotten calls or delivery from ups? I'm so excited if it is my phone!!! But don't want to get my hopes up! If it is I'm not moving from that front door tomorrow until that Inc is in my hands! LOL

I would call customer service to verify this. VZW only ships via UPS for customers that are UPS employees. I guess they would use UPS in the unlikely event that FedEx advised that they would be unable to deliver your package on time.

That would be great for you if it is your phone. I ordered on 6/5 and I'm hoping I have it by next weekend. The first two weeks of waiting hasn't been too bad, but I know this last week is going to be really tough!

I know this isn't the forum for this but I'm guessing you are excited to receive your incredible so....

Just got back from a weeks vacation and used the Incredible as my primary camera. VERY PLEASED! The battery life is low on the 1300 stock battery and I have the 1750 wich gives much more time before a charge. Not a complaint but the 1750 is still not quite enough for the day when you take pictures, talk a lot on the phone and use it for all e-mail and SMS/MMS communication. I will be looking for a larger capacity battery and am not concerned about increasing the thickness of my phone. I've pretty much moved from my laptop to the incredible and am quite happy with the phone.

Well after a 37min call with CS they can not find my order!!! They said it was shipped 6/6 which it was shipped just not the phone, all I got was holster and screen protectors I told her. So now after all this wait time who knows if I will see my Inc any time soon! All I was told some orders just don't show up in their system, and i could reorder it! I just don't get it how can orders not show up in their system! Maybe a droid X is in my future now?!

is it possible that it didnt ship yet and thats y they cant see it? i ordered mine 6/14 and the CS rep said it wont show up with a tracking number orr any information until it ships. hopefully thats it!

Wow sounds like you let it slide??? I mean you do have a receipt or some sort of proof of purchase?

I would be asking for an overnighted D.Inc at this point with a free case for your troubles thrown in there or something!

Called VZW today and was told that my D Inc would ship on the 22, which happened to be my "ship by date" from a 6/1 order. My in-store receipt says 2-day but the CSR said any order placed before the 27 had a free upgrade to overnight. hope this gives someone hope.

i ordered mine in the store on 6/14 and the girl who rang me up said it would ship by 6/23... doesnt seem accurate to me since everyone else's takes way longer... called vzw customer service and they said july 12 :-( that sounds more accurate but im so mad bc the girl in the store double checked with THREE people bc i kept asking her if she was SURE it would ship that fast and they ALL said YES. i said to her that july 12 was what the website said and she assured me it would ship faster from an in-store order. if i knew that it definitely wouldnt, i woulda just ordered it online and got the online discount rather than deal with the rebate later. grrrrrrr

If I were you, I'd go back to the store and stir up a storm! Try to get as much 'compensation' as possible...free case, 1 month free usage, etc. If one employee fed you the incorrect info, that's one thing. But the fact that every employee at the store confirmed it...that's just unacceptable.

Question though: Was this a Verizon corporate store, or a Verizon-branded cell phone store?

I ordered my droid on 6/5. I got overnight shipping also. What do you think my chances are of getting my phone by friday this week. My ship by date is 6/25(which is friday). Also have any of you seen any of the phones being delivered past the ship by date, because i haven't. But I know the phones are shipping closer and closer to the ship by dates.

^I would definitely call CS and try to get something out of it. You have a valid case, you're bearing dealing with a phone that's dieing until a date you were assured of... three times...

I'm sure the ship by date effected your purchase in someway, so use them misinforming you to your advantage.

I was originally told I'd have my phone in-hand on the 25th, and I ordered in-store on the 5th as well and got overnight shipping. I was told by the store that there's still a good change it'll be in my hand on Friday. But, like you, I have seen a good number of phones being shipped ON the ship-by date. So that is a bit worrisome.

Today is 6/21 and I still have not received an e-mail notification saying that my Dinc has been shipped. Seems they are being shipped to the day at this point. I guess it's better than shipping past the ship date, but it still sucks! Still holding hope that I will get my shipping notice today for a Wednesday delivery.

When i ordered my phone the online rep i spoke with quoted me a shippping date of 6/21 so I'll call from work today to see whats up. I am tired of not having my phone =(

So it appears shipping is not always a few days early as was previously hoped for in this thread. :-(

My ship date is 6/28. I'm trying to convince myself that it's not a big deal and my BB9700 can hold up for me until then.

Honestly - I'm ok with waiting under the assumption that we're going to get Froyo on the Inc by end of the month. That means I get my phone, upgrade and start loving life.
