This really sucks! I am strongly considering cancelling this order and just going with the Eris and downgrading to a 1 year agreement, that way I will just be stuck with it until the iPhone comes.

I called my local store, hoping to get lucky and they would have 1 in stock, they don't have any either. They have to order them as well.

When I got an email last week they said phones shipping to the "Northeast Area" would begin shipping 6/25. I guess they are shipping based on geographical location. I am in NJ. Ordered 6/2 over the phone, promised to be shipped by 6/23, now pushed to 6/25 ship date.
I ordered on the 5th, so do you think that mine also got pushed back 2 days or so. Im in Chicago
I would call VZW and ask them. It seems that a lot of people are calling and their dates are being pushed back.
What number are you calling? I keep getting folks that can only confirm that I ordered online on 6/2.
I ordered on 6/3 here in NY, with a promised ship date by 6/24 the latest. I have yet to hear anything, called today they said should ship the 28th, freaked out and they said sorry we mixed you up, it should ship this week. Bottom line is Verizon is embarrassing themselves not only because the backorder, but they lie and cannot ever give a straight answer. If i do not have it by the end of the week, I will argue until I get something to make up for this **** show.

He didn't say most likely, but he said there is a chance, especially with overnight shipping. He said Verizon is getting the phones out to people to have in-hand on the date they are quoted (we have seen a trend otherwise, but no real way to tell). He said the reason why he believes I'll have it Friday is that orders placed on the same day will basically go out on the same day, regardless of shipping method. So, he said with my '6/28' date (the corporate date I was given), the orders would ship Wednesday or Thursday. With overnight shipping I should have it on Friday, thus why I was originally told I'd have it in-hand on the 25th.
Now, if the trend we're seeing sticks (more phones being shipped closer to/on ship-by date), then that's a different ballgame as he's using outdated info. But, just have to wait and see I guess, hoping those getting shipping info ON their ship date are the exception, not the rule.

I just called the *611 from my phone. I ordered over the phone, did you order online or over the phone? I tried to check my status online, they told me that since I ordered over the phone I could not track my order online.
Today was supposed to be the day I was eligible for my Incredible. Verizon was nice enough to bump up my due date and I got mine about a month ago. Hang in there, it's worth it.

Just called CSR and they stated my phone was still on schedule to be shipped no later then 6/25 which is my estimated shipping date. I ordered my phone on 6/5. She said that more than likely i'll receive the phone on that date. I hope this helps all of us chill a little about shipping dates being pushed back.
I hope your right. I also ordered my phone on the 5th. But we all know that verizon can screw things up. I don't think that i can stand another weekend without it.
Same here! She told me it shipping out the 6/25 would be the worse possible scenario. I also asked her if the region I live in makes a difference. She said region makes no difference. what she did say however, is the 6/4 & 6/5 order dates are combined and will be shipped out the same day. Whether I believe that or not is the question. However, VZW combining order dates would make sense, due to the fact some June 1st orders have been shipped and some 5/29's haven't.
