Droid Incredible Shipping?

This has been what it says for me since I ordered it on May 11th. I knew it said ships by 5/29 when I ordered it so I emailed Verizon and they said yeah it's backordered and I complained why didn't anyone tell me plus you have my money and I have no phone and they said sorry the first time and when I said not good enough they said sorry and here's $30 credit to next month's bill and it will ship on 6/3. Kinda satisfied about the credit but eh I rather my phone

Well Hakoreh I would think yours will probably arrive by the end of the week because from what I've been reading it seems as though it's been taking everyone about 5-7 business days to actually get it from when they ordered. That also probably depends on what time they ordered it.

I just called the store I ordered from and they said it hadn't shipped and the estimated ship date was 6/1 which I don't believe but whatever.

For everyone who ordered online did you receive shipping emails or did you have to check your status? If you did receive emails what time did they come in?

Here is my 2 cents worth. I ordered mine from my BJ's Kiosk on May 12th. Been dealing with the guys for sev years. They told me the company line was (at the time) end of May.
When we filled the order I saw the computer screen, that showed at least 15 thousand in stock and only a little over 7 thousand orders. So the story goes If you order today you may not get it till Jun, Depending on when you ordered in May it may be a week or two . My guess is they will always tell you Longer. They look good then when you get the phone in a week.

The thing is we don't know what is "virtual inventory" and what is their actual inventory. There's also the issue of how many are going to stores, how many are fulfilling store orders, and how many are fulfilling online orders.

There's pretty much no way to know and all we have to go by is the previous weeks orders and judge by that. Considering that some people who ordered at the beginning of last week have received them we can only hope the delay is about a week or so.

ordered 5/9 and nothing in todays Fedex. Told by VZW Store by 5/14. I hope its not ship by 5/29. Won't recieve that till 6/1 then.

I ordered on 5/8 but hadn't received any shipping notice. I just checked online after reading this thread and it said my order had shipped and gave me a tracking number. Should have it tomorrow.

Did you receive yours? If so, you are the last person I heard of getting one sent to them. When was the last time anyone got a shipping notice from Verizon, and when and how did they order?

Ordered 5/9 at a local corporate Verizon store. Guy told me it would be here last Thursday and it never came. I called up customer service and they said it had not shipped and had not idea when it would be in. Called again and spoke to another person and was told it had not shipped but I should get it by 5/29. I would have ordered it on 5/8 but the guy at first store seemed reluctant to do so and just told me to come back in a few weeks when they were back in stock, he was the only one working at the store so I guess he didn't want to waste his time with me.

He either didn't want to waste his time, or he could have been new and just didn't know how to handle the situation. Bottom line Verizon is waiting on HTC to fullfill their orders so they can get the phones out so either be patient and wait it out, or cancel your order and go back when they are available everywhere!
