Droid Incredible Shipping?

God, I'm so glad I ordered mine on the 30th.....seems like anyone who jumped after that have had longer delays than I did. I had to wait 3 days to get it, now some people are being told it could be 2 weeks.....ouch. I sure hope they get their parts chain together so they can start fulfilling orders or HTC may miss the boat along with Verizon as people find equal or better options.
 
I never updated on when my Incredible came in, I had ordered it last Saturday, with overnighting it, and it came to my house on Thursday. I stopped into the verizon store for a case and the employee who sold it to me told me that it was pretty lucky I got mine quick, that the backorders were about a week, or more.

But guys, if you're still waiting, it's WELL worth the wait.
 
Same story, ordered on the 10th.. shipping 2-3 days.. At least now I know not to bother checking the website 10 times a day. Guess I'll just have to cool my jets :-(
 
I ordered last evening (5/14) and my credit card has already been charged. Does that mean that the item is shipping? Or do they just charge it immediately? With the pre-order, they didn't charge my credit card until it was shipping. This is the 2nd one I am buying on my account.
 
Alright well I'll have to keep you posted then because the vzw rep I spoke to just a few mins ago stated that since the credit card was charged, the phone will ship in the next 2-3 days
 
The Verizon lied...sorry...everyone was charged as soon as the order was placed. I've been waiting a week now.
Cust reps will say anything to get you off the phone.
 
It's probably like in most cases once the credit card is charged the phone is shipped but since the Incredible is so back ordered they're doing it anyway and just waiting to ship it.

It's like the virtual inventory since it shows 9000 or whatever units their system is going to think that it'll ship in 2-3 days.
 
Dunno. Web says ship by June something. Been reports that ppl have been receiving their devices much earlier. CSR says different things, yada yada.

i know its killing me, i ordered mine through the store because of problems getting the NE2 on another line without a data plan, then moving it to my line, but they couldnt give me an order number to check online, so a few days later i called Cust service, and they said its been processed and just waiting to get some to ship out. I asked if she could give me an order number, and sure enough, it was the "transaction" number or whatever on my receipt, with 3 0's in front lol..which did me no good. I feel bad for you guys who just ordered, i ordered on the 11th and they had told me by the 21st, many of you are gonna be waiting into june i bet. Stay strong!!!

Man, you've been thru h e l l and high water. It'll be a while, but I hope that we all get a good, solid device.
 
Verizon needs to get their **** together... like somebody previously mentioned, the small picture on the website says ships by 6/1, then the big picture says 6/4, and in the specifications area it says 6/7.

wtf is the deal here? This is sketchy, real sketchy.
 
Ordered mine in store 5/10 (Monday) and that was in the time period when they said it will be at my front door by the 29th. I called CS at the Verizon store that I ordered it from 2 days ago and got nothing. Called today and now the warehouse has them, but my order has not been processed yet. I'll call back on Monday and see what's going on.
