Hate to be a spoiler here but I called about 3-4 stores in my area back on 5/4 and lo and behold, one store had several in stock. I walked in and bought it.

I randomly check Best Buy to see the availability, just curious. Usually there is always at least one store with them in stock. Seems like the way to go if you want one.

Though we do have 4 best Buys in town.

Just wanted to give everyone an update with my order. I ordered 6/3 and was told it would ship no later than 6/24. I have had no update yet on mine. This is by far the most patient I have ever been in my entire life.

I checked 5 Verizon stores in my area when I purchased mine. None had any in stock, and all said I'd have to 'get in line' as they didn't expect any unclaimed stock to come in. I checked 5 BB's we have in the area, and at the time, none had any. But, since I ordered, I've checked BB about 5 times. Of the 5 times, on 2 occassions 1 store out of the 5 has shown to have the DInc in stock. But, I'm saving an extra $50 by going through Verizon, so no complaints.

I'm expecting mine to be shipped today as I was told when ordering by phone on 6/1. I haven't received an e-mail notification as of now. I am nervous reading through the last few posts that Verizon is actually falling behind. Scheduled delivery is two-day instead of over-night, hopefully will have it by Thursday. I HAD BETTER NOT HAVE TO SIT THROUGH ANOTHER WEEKEND WITHOUT MY INCREDIBLE!!!!

I ordered mine online on Friday june 18. I guess it will ship sometime the middle of July. I was finallly able to upgrade early. I'd had an upgrade to the Storm 2 that I hadnt used because I didnt feel it was really an upgrade and didnt want to waste it on that. Well, apparently Verizon forgot too, because I've been trying to upgrade since I found out abou the Inc. Finally got a manager to upgrade me, he said he didnt know why they kept telling me know when all they had to do was switch it to the Inc. I couldve already been enjoying my incr. But its heavily discounted so, that makes the waiting a LOT easier to stand. I do get anxious everytime i see fed ex and ups trucks, but I know they dont have my preciousssss... yet!

Just curious, but if I wanted to cancel my Verizon D.Inc order all I'd have to do is call CSR up and they'd take care of it and I'd get my upgrade and all the money back right? Read somewhere that they wouldn't give the upgrade back or take some money or something..

Really tempted to run over to the local best buy and pick one up... Thing is though.. Verizon let me upgrade two months early. Think best buy will do the same?

Went to Best Buy a few minutes this post, just got back and found out they were already sold out of the shipment they got in at midnight last night. Half of them were preorders they were still catching up on. Then the rep said they would get the new droids in before they got more D.Incs so chances of getting more in were slim to none.

Guess its back to waiting till 7/16 for me...

And got this e-mail from Customer Service when I asked for an expected delivery date a week later.

"Due to inventory constraints on the Droid Incredible by HTC, we cannot guarantee when you will receive this device. We have been advised by our Distribution Center that devices ordered June 10, 2010 will not ship until July 8th, 2010. These devices are shipped in the order that they are received. "

I'm also a 6/8 order and called csr yesterday and was given the same 6/29 date that I"ve been given since day 1

I ordered in store at about 8PM on 6/9. Thank god I did because the next day it changed to 7/9 I think and I was quoted 6/30. Was in the store the other day and they said it was scheduled to ship on the 28th so it should ship early next week I hope!
