Droid Incredible Shipping?

If I recall correctly, Verizon sends you an email with a tracking number when they ship the phone.

Do not worry about the 2-3 day processing status or whater it says when you go online to get an update on the status of your order. If you have not got a tracking number yet, your phone hasn't shipped. Mine said that in advance of the tracking number email as well, so I wouldn't get too excited.

At least thats my .02 cents worth on it. Maybe this will help those watching and waiting for the fed-ex truck. I know it sucks to wait, I hate it too ...but I think you will be happy in the end.

So those of us that ordered on 5/14 probably are out of luck until June 3rd lol.

Same date I ordered.. I thought it said June 1st, but either way - guess I shouldn't be expecting anything sooner.

Yeah it said June 1st on the website, but if you clicked on the actual phone it said June 3rd..and when I called in to check the status of my order they told me June 3rd. Oh well..worth the wait!

Ordered at the store. So I am flying blind. No info other that you should have it the 14th.

I think they will still send you a shipping confirmation email even if you ordered in the store (if you supplied them with your email address or they had it on file) ..but I could be wrong.

I ordered mine through the store on 5/12 and was told they are shipping 5/29. Since then the website now shows shipping by 6/8. Do you think earlier orders will ship by their original dates and that the 6/8 ship date is just for orders being placed now?

6/8 is just orders being placed now. Whatever the delivery date was the day you ordered is the latest date you are supposed to get it by.

He first was surprised that I had not received my phone yet but once I told him which one his attitude turned around. He said "oh that will be shipped on the 29th, that is when the release date is". "Release date?" I asked, he said "yes you pre-ordered the phone." I just hung up. He tried to make it sound like the phone wasn't even out yet. What a joke. Guess I will just have to wait until the 29th.

You placed your order on the 9th? And you STILL haven't received it? I placed mine on the 15th and I was told the latest I would receive mine is June 3rd.



But I also called yesterday and was told that people have been receiving their phone roughly 2 weeks after the order has been placed.

I figured it would be about two weeks.. but I'm still holding out hope that it'll be sooner. You would think they'd get production ramped up to get caught back up to demand sooner rather than later.. but who knows.

I think because Verizon has come out publicly and targeted Samsung for not having enough screens means it really is on backorder and you won't be getting it anytime soon until more come in. Before they were shipping and just covering themselves saying it would ship by a date. Now they come out and tell you so it really isn't coming.

I ordered from a Verizon Store on 5/11 and haven't heard a peep

I called last thursday and the rep claimed it shipped on the 12th- so I'm eagerly awaitying getting home from work to play with my new super phone and nothing.

That POS phone rep lied to me and really got my hopes up


After reading thru this thread, Im feeling a little sick. They said the 29th would be the latest but from the looks of it (Saturday on Holiday weekend) we will not seeing our phones til AT LEAST June 2nd.

I am starting to regret getting this phone. Im stuck with a Razor2 that can't even hold a charge for 6 hours

I ordered on May 10th, and no email with shipping info yet. On the 11th, I had gotten an email from a CSR that said I would get my incredible my May 26th.

I have decided if I do not have any shipping info by May 31st I will just cancel my order and wait to see if the Droid 2 is announced on fathers day like some rumors predict in the rumors forum.

I've moved onto "acceptance". It would be nice to get it this week, but we'll see. We don't know where Samsung is in terms of screen production. The Verizon reps probably don't know any more than we do. Looks like the S1 will have a little more duty to fulfill.
