Droid Incredible Shipping?

I just called Fedex and they didn't have anything for me so I guess that means there's always Monday...

I ordered the 13th for reference.

I ordered my phone in store on 5/10 and haven't heard anything. But the VZW rep told me I can enter my phone number on Fedex to track my package...I have no idea if it's true or not though. I enter my phone number for Fedex and it just comes back no record found, so I don't know if it's because the phone hasn't shipped or if you can't track a package by entering your phone number.

That sounds like absolute BS that you can use your phone number as a tracking number.

seems to me that the brunt of us on here that have yet to hear anything from slow shipping red, are orders from the 9th of May and up... has anyone on here ordered/paid for an Incredible before the 9th and received any notification yet?

I ordered my phone online at Verizon on the 11th, and like many of you I have received only an order number. At the time when I ordered the phone which was a Tues, I was told it would be at my house my Friday. The rep I talked to claimed no knowledge of a back-order (figures), and when Friday came and went, I called back and they said it wouldn't ship until the 29th. I just hung up. They couldn't give me any more information. My story is nothing new to most of of you, but I thought I'd add my story to the pile. But the strange thing is, I'm starting to resent the whole process, and my level of excitement is now turning into indifference. lol

Still the same "2-3 business days" bull**** on the VZW order tracking page for me (placed the order on 5/15). Called VZW and they said orders placed that day would be shipping 6/4.

My friend ordered hers on 5/9, processed on 5/10 and she said that she received hers last night.

I ordered mine the morning of 5/12 and I'm still waiting for a tracking number.

Yes location please. I just called the store and again they wouldn't even bother looking at my account just standard line "will ship by 5-29"

At least there is some hope. A couple of people who ordered on the 9th (day I ordered) are starting to get thiers.

I don't think most of you get it. The phone hasn't shipped until you have been given a tracking number. Calling Verizon is not going to make it ship any faster if they even can't physically acquire the phone.

99.9% of the phone orders placed last week will not be shipped till the end of the month. Phone parts are scarce.

The HTC Incredible is definitely what it says “Incredible”, but part shortages is putting the Motorola Droid ahead in sales. Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam has said that the Droid Incredible would definitely outsell the Motorola smartphone, but parts shortage has stopped this.

McAdam was interviewed by MSNBC, he went on to say that as soon as the parts start coming in again it would definitely outsell the Motorola Droid. The Incredible is selling very fast and so much so as soon as Verizon gains stocks they sell straight away.

Verizon has sold 100,000 units, as soon as the phones arrive in store they are gone in a matter of hours. Verizon’s online site now says ‘Due to high demand, this device will ship by 6/7’ this is a major setback for sales.
