Right. And if you are within 1 day of Fedex Ground (Their slowest delivery method) you are within 1 day of Fedex 2 day shipping.
I've been burned by this before. I ordered 2 day shipping from Newegg and had it ship from their NJ warehouse to me in MD. (Had I ordered Ground it would have gotten to me in the same amount of time) Got it the next day. It has happened to me once or twice with other vendors which makes me wish that the Neweggs, Amazons, buy.coms of the world would let you know where it is shipping from.

I looked at that map..and for SC it says 1 day but it is shipping from TN so is that 2 day for me? Should I just go by the estimated delivery time on fedex or do they deliver early? I just need to be home to sign for it you know?

Fedex deliveries

If it ships from West Chester PA like many of the East coast orders it may as well be overnight (except for the arrival by 10:30am). All of NJ, MD and DE, most of PA and VA and some of NY are next day from that warehouse, even if shipped using ground.

I deliver these phones(I work for Fedex Express). We have a two day service(E2 7:00 pm resi commit). With the exception of Mondays we can deliver the next day's E2 comittment a day earlier. Be sure too look for "out for delivery" on Fedex tracking to know for sure if it's on it's way out to you. I have noticed an increase in these phones shipping Standard overnight(3:00 pm in most areas). Leave a signed note if you want to catch it on it's first attempt if you are not going to be there otherwise you can sign the tag left or pick it up that evening at the nearby station otherwise you get three delivery attempts. You can also call the 800 no. with the tracking no. to have it changed to hold for pick up if you don't want it out on the road for delivery.

That all depends on where it ships. I've seen posts from East coasters get their phones from Ontario, CA.

Is anyone getting theirs from the Dallas Tx warehouse? I ordered 5/13 over phone (swapped my bb storm 2). By the way I ordered my wifes inc on 5/3 and had it on 5/5. I just wish I had gotten myself one at that time.

The TX warehouse is only used for returns. The shipping label shows the senders address as TX but if you check the tracking you'll see it came from one of the following shipping centers:

Ontario, CA
Memphis, TN
West Chester, PA

looks like I would get mine from Memphis, TN then and that shipping center has only shipped orders from 5/9, 5/10, and 5/11 so far (quick search on this thread). I'm on 5/13 so it doesn't look good for shipping by tomorrow

UPDATE: Is West Chester, PA a bigger warehouse maybe? They are shipping out of there like crazy.

Thanks for the heads up, I did not know about the Monday restriction.
I used to work for UPS back in college. (Tractor trailer unloader) Overnight and 2 day packages went onto the same tractor trailers for regional transport. (Though they were loaded at the end and placed just inside the door)
I don't have the luxury of going to my local Fedex branch.....weird thing. My local Fedex branch is 90 mins away. (Not going to drive 3 hours) Mind you I live just outside of Baltimore and there are at least 6 local branches that are closer. Weird.

I just thought I'd share my experience with you all to give you a little insight on the whole process.

I first ordered in store on May 10th. At the time, I was told it would arrive at my door be FedEx on May 29th or before. So for 2 weeks, I called the verizon store about every other day asking if there's an update on its status. Finally, I called on Sunday, the 23rd, and was told it was being shipped out on the 24th from the warehouse in PA (I'm in MD). I looked up the tracking number and it was scheduled to arrive today, the 26th. However, it arrived in only 1 day, and i received it yesterday! It arrived at my local FedEx facility (about 7 miles from my home) the morning after it was shipped at about 7 am, and was on the truck for delivery at 9 am.

So to all who have ordered this truly incredible phone, I say here that there very might well be a good chance you will receive your phone before the date you were quoted. I hope all of this helps in some way to someone here.

I do expect it to ship out some time next week. What days were you 2 quoted that it would ship out on? (at the latest.)

I was quoted the 28th of May when I purchased it on the 12th.... next day they said the 4th of June, then the 3rd of June, now it is supposedly the 1st of June...
