Verizon has not dealt with this shortage well, having everybody else having it in stock over them is a complete joke. I cant wait to see AT&T's new commercials to battle with verizon. ordered june 3, im going to be realistic and accept the june24th date, but if its a day late, verizon manager is going to get a piece of my mind. has any june 3rds received any concrete updates?
I have no clue where you're getting these nice managers and CSRs. I called them almost every other day about my Storm I the last few weeks, and all I got was "Sorry, wait for the DInc. with no extra stuff." sigh
Trust me I had to deal with some bad csr's too but the manager I got just straight hooked me up because of the screw up with the phone. I told him that the $50.00 they gave me wasn't enough to satisfy me because I took off a day of work to wait for my phone because no one would be home etc. He said he understood and was sorry. He even called all stores around my area to see if I could go pick one up and that he would give me some accessories to go with my phone when it arrived. I never thought he would honor it but sure enough when my Dinc shipped I got a call from him right after go figure.
Remember if you can't stay home to sign for the package you can leave a signed note stating that they can leave the package at the door. I know it works because I tried it myself and they accepted the sign note.

I'm not sure; it doesn't seem like they are getting further behind on orders, but the ship date is still ~3 weeks out for new orders (which is an awesome thing really; it means there is still a high demand, since they can't start catching up. It's also a steady demand).
So you may get yours' a few days early, but don't expect anything extremely dramatic, I think.
For what it's worth, I ordered mine on 5/26 and, at that time, I was told it would ship by 6/16. I called today and the guy I spoke to had a sheet that had the order dates and estimated ship dates on it. For 5/26 they still show it shipping by 6/16. No change.
UPDATE: Got email today from Verizon. Ordered 5/26: shipped 6/11: arriving Tuesday 6/15 (send Fed Ex 2-day).

I ordered mine by phone on 6/1 and they gave me a ship date of 6/22 and delivery date of 6/24. I thought that ordering by phone, they provided overnight delivery. I called CSR a few days ago to see about that, and they said yes, it would be overnighted and then went through the dates again, still giving me shipping on 6/22 and delivered on 6/24. How in the hell is that overnight delivery....she had no answer. I will be calling back sometime today to verify. Hoping to get it earlier.

When is your NE2 up? Mine wasn't up until the middle of September....they bumped mine so I could order my INC on 6/1.
It was up 6/2. I was ready to order on 5/23 (which would likely mean I would have my inc in my hands right now), but CSR refused to bump date, despite pointing out that wife's was up 1/18/2010 and that we were going to a higher cost phone and plan.... oh well...
are there any other 5/25 orders that got shipping notices. I ordered through telesales. I am going out of town in the afternoon of 6/17 and with a promised two day ship date of 6/15 I'm not sure I'm going to get this bad boy before I leave. FedEx told me that after two failed attempts they will send back to sender. I don't want to leave a note for FedEx because I don't want my Dinc to sit on my front porch until I get home. Sorry guys trying to not complain about "just a phone" just wondering if anyone else got a ship date. Oh I'm in NJ also. Thanks
the estimate date isnt a recieve date. its a ship out before date. they are just saying hey order today we will ship it out before x date. but i would expect it to be speeding up soon. there was on artice some where( i didnt save it was jjust google searching) that said the screen manufacture has increased production so i would expect them to start catching up quicker in a couple of weeks.

I ordered mine on 5/25 (around 7pm ET) and still no email conformation yet. Estimate ship by date was 6/15. I'm still thinking its possible to get it today (Friday) but unlikely. Most likely Monday or Tuesday. Its seems like its a mixed bag of people getting emails to people not getting emails so just because I didn't get one yet, doesn't make me think that I won't be getting it yet.
I'm in the exact same boat.
Ordered online....expected to be delivered to NYC.
NO emial yet.........grrrrrrrrrrrr

I bought (tried to) my Dinc off of an auction at ebay. Seller never sent the device. Never responded to any of my emails. Its only been a week, but this seller has a 30 rating and a history of unreliability buying and selling. I was going to do a item dispute, but just decided to get my money back through my bank which thank God they're putting it back this morning. Now that I have to start this process over again trying to get this phone, should I order it thru Verizon or try Amazon? which is faster?
Correct. date is ship date not receive date. So two day shipping should put my phone (ship date no later than 6/15) in my hands by 6/17. Two day shipping is given unless next day is chosen at order time. Free next day shipping is only with coupon code online or if you ask (beg) telesales. Otherwise next day shipping is $8+
If Amazon is still in stock then definitely Amazon. They were quoting "ships in 1-3 weeks" but it seems like most people are getting theirs in less than 2. Compare this to Verizon, who isn't shipping until July 9th.
Also, you may want to call a few Best Buys in your area.
