Droid Incredible Shipping?

I hate to rain on everyone's parade but from what I have seen on multiple forums today, not a single order has shipped except for a few stragglers from 6/1 and 6/2. I also have noticed that there are still quite a few people from those two dates that have not received their tracking info yet. I am a 6/3 and spoke to CS just a little while ago. He first told me that it should have shipped today and at the latest it would go out tomorrow. I mentioned the 5 day delay and he said that this was not accurate and he hadn't heard of any delays. He then said that he would check with a supervisor and get right back to me. When he came back on the line he said that there was in fact a 5 day delay that would affect some people and since mine had not shipped I would be in that group. I am pretty sure that this is affecting the large majority of us since no one that I have seen has received a tracking number today. For all of you 6/5 people, I wish the best for you but you are in exactly the same place I was yesterday. Hearing all of the delays but hoping that the phone would ship on the day promised because that is what verizon is telling you. I just don't see how you are going to receive your orders if all of the 6/1 - 6/4 people have not even gotten our phones and will presumably not until next week. Like I said, I hope this is all wrong and we all get our tracking info tomorrow but it is not looking good. I don't think that the supervisors have passed down the info about the 5 day delay to all of the CS people and that is why people are still being told that their phone will ship on time. This would have been the case with me if I had not dug a little deeper while on the call. I will post if I hear anything new.
 
Just saw the post from Droid User11 and hoping he is right. You can just disregard my above comment if the info he got was correct. I just wish they would be consistant with their answers.
 
What my guess is that the 5 day delay applies to the people who's shipping dates have passed and have not received any notification(shipping notifications are given a day after shipping, this is what I heard) Verizon knows that they have to move on with the orders or they will get even farther behind. That is why I think it only applies to only some of the orders. I think it makes sense.

So they ship a day before we get notified? And in that case do those of us that have overnight shipping get it on the delivery notification day?

At least on internet orders, you get two e-mails. First one indicates your order is shipping. Second one tells you how to activate.
 
Either that or Verizon just cashed in on all those that think they are getting over night shipping and they are really getting 2nd day.

I was told mine was going to be shipped overnight and it was shipped 2nd day air. It is scheduled to arrive tomorrow (Friday). I ordered in store. The store manager is giving me a killer deal on accessories to make up for the goose chase I've been on.....
 
Wow... eff Verizon...

So X announced Wednesday and in my impulsiveness I attempt to cancel Dinc order the same day. They tell me can't cancel and that it's shipping Friday and to just decline delivery.

So I get to thinking and reading reviews on X and decide to stick with Dinc, shipping Friday so why not? So I call Verizon this morning and the rep goes on to tell me that it has shipped and I'll see it Saturday afternoon! No tracking number yet, but that I should call later. So work goes by so slow with the thought of having my Dinc soon.

So work ends and I call to get that tracking number... what do I get? "Your phone hasn't shipped, it isn't due to ship until next week, actually." W T F?! The lady told me it freaking shipped! I request a supervisor as I feel I shouldn't have been lied to. Supervisor confirms that yep, it isn't shipping until Monday. I tried to get shipping bumped to Next Day, but he couldn't do it... credited $30 towards the phone though so I guess that's cool.

Still, was so stoked that I was going to have the phone this weekend. :(
 
Ordered 6/2 and got my shipping email yesterday 6/24! Sucks thats its 2 day shipping and won't get it till Monday tho

I have a feeling the 6/3'ers should be getting an email shortly!
 
This has to be one of the worse cases of mangement I have seen. First off they should have Never started selling the phone until their supply was up to handle the demand .As you can see they are Not doing this with the Moto X.

I also am one of the ones who have paid in full on the phone since it was charged to my account and the account was going to be due Before I would get the phone.
My actually due date(shiping date) has not yet passed ,but once it does I will call everyday til I feel I have given them enough time.If I still haven't got the phone I will most likely cancel and start searching other cell phone providers to which on who I would switch my cell phone plan too from vzw ,when contract expires .;)

Its all in vzw's hands as to what happens :p

I'm a 6/5'er and I've been reading and praying that you're all wrong......but denial doesn't make it any less real. I really want mine for the weekend :(
 
I called CS this morning and was told that all orders to be shipped by 6/28 are affected by this 5-day delay. That includes the 6/
3's to 6/7's. Looks as though they did not receive expected shipments. My guess.
 
That's me (6/6). Looks like I'm not going to have this for vacation. Such is life. Just happy to be one of the folks lucky enough to be worried about my ship date and not bigger things right now.
 
So, here is my story. I am a 6/3 online order and of course the phone was supposed to ship yesterday. I spoke to a CSR at 7:30 this morning. She said that neither she nor internet sales had an update on the order. She said that if it was supposed to ship yesterday I should have the tracking info emailed today.

At this point I really do not think calling the CSR's will do any good. I have a feeling that their shipping department (or whoever is running the show) is being very tight lipped on the situation and they are doing their absolute best to play damage control. So with that said, I will post any information I receive via email today.

No notice as of yet.

Pretty sad that I wake up first thing in the morning and check to see if it shipped. :-S
 
Finally got an email from VZW........not the one I am waiting for. They emailed me to remind me to upgrade my phone! Uh hello, been there, done that waiting for phone!!! Still no updates on my 6/2 order.
 
Yeah, I've adopted the don't call CSR because them pulling up my account makes it prone to screw ups with my order philosophy. I'll just wait and get the lo down from everyone here and if I'm delayed 5 days...oh well. It could be worse.

BUT 6/9 shows on the internet page where you add your order # & last name.
My husband was told earlier this week over the phone, that my ship date 6/28 using e mail order conformation was correct.
I do not think anyone there has any real idea what is going on except that they have a **** load of money in advance for products not even in their warehouse?

I've been watching this forum for about a week now, and I thought it was about time I entered the fold myself. I am a 6/8 in-store order, waiting very impatiently for my DI. I last spoke with a CSR on Tuesday of this week and was quoted the same 6/29 ship date and 6/30 delivery date the in-store rep gave me when I purchased the phone. Obviously I am crossing my fingers for something close to that, and hoping you all see your phones soon as well.
