Droid Incredible Shipping?

And what do you know... my phone that was due to ship Monday is now being pushed back 5 days...

The X keeps looking nicer and nicer...

Walked into Verizon store, asking about when it would be shipped (mine was supposed to ship on the 25th). The rep said they were delayed, and would hopefully be shipped on Wednesday.

So great.

Ordered: June 5
Guesstimates ship date: June 25
Actual ship date: who knows

Pretty annoying. Everybody was getting their phones several days before projected ship dates, and now us early June guys are getting them later

I'm sure everyone's had enough of the 6/2s by now, but here's what I know about mine (took me 'til today to get the info from Verizon):

Ordered 6/2
Was told it would ship by 6/23, but no info yet as of the evening of 6/24
Called in today to get tracking info (mine was a phone order, so no status emails sent) -- apparently it was picked up around 3pm on 6/25 from Ontario, and made it to Oakland today (destination is Redwood City), but FedEx's estimate is that it won't reach me until Tuesday 6/26.

I called Thursday and spoke with a Supervisor that gave me his word that my phone would ship Monday and I'd have it by Wednesday. Called today and I'm being told about the delay which will cause my phone to ship Thursday. Apparently they "have absolutely no Incredibles and there's nothing anyone can do." Right...

I'm starting to wonder if HTC is working on another phone for Verizon(Scorpion?) that will diminish the wait time for this phone. If you look at Verizon's site, for every one day that passes, the shipping goes up 2-3days.

That isn't absolutely true. I have been looking at the website for some time now. It seems to be pushed back once or twice during the week, about 1-2 days each.

Yeah I'll have to say that the avg. time has remained the same from when I ordered my phone to the shipping date posted on the website or close enough to call it that too.It may be a couple days longer but not enough of a difference to mention, so at least they are holding at this pace and its not getting longer .

Its always been 4 weeks after the current date give or take a day and hasn't change since I ordered my D.Inc.

I hope so ,this is the only new phone I liked enough to order from vzw whch hapens to be the only carrier that works for me and my road trips so I'm stuck , lol .The motoX is to big for me and had a bad experince with motorola so not proven enough yet .Just dont like the moto droid design ,I tried it out since a friend one, just dont like the design on it is why I dont like that one.

yeah, i used to have to support the Q and the v3m, it sucked/sucks. before those steaming piles moto was good with advanced devices imo, and i think the droid lineup is a step in the right direction. they just need to get away from the "i am iron man" look and maybe make some more organic looking devices?

sorry for the off topic...i think that those who are thinking of cancelling their order and getting the X, wait until the X is out, it might have some issues that nobody knows about yet. just don't go flinging yourself at the newest thing down the pipe and swearing off what's already available, ya know?

Ordered via CS June 2nd, Received Fed Ex track from CS June 26th, Scheduled for delivery June 29th. Pretty sure I made it in on the AMOLED display. Woo Hoo! It could only be sweeter w/ the Super AMOLED and 2.2 Froyo.
