Great news! I'm a 6/5'r from the Midwest. I was wondering, were you ever told about the 5 day waiting period and what time did you order? Via internet?
I ordrered in store. I went in yesterday, asking about it, and they specifically said that it wouldn't be shipped until Wednesday. I suppose that's the 5 day delay. But it ended up not happening.
Fedex doesn't count Sunday as shipping day so it'll still be considered overnight if you get it on Tuesday.
Ordered 6/3 in store. I just called the store and the guy said check back on July 5. After keeping up with this forum, I realize that the guys at the store dont have a clue. Is there another number I could call to check on my order, or can I only go thru the store that I placed the order.
611 on your phone and go through the menu I believe push 4 for other options and say droid incredible shipping information. but I've noticed the response you gert varies greatly by your area. I'm northwest and never once has anyone mentioned a 5 day delay to me. . . quite curious
Just called customer service. Just wanted to let anyone who ordered in store to not call the verizon store for info. Customer service was able to tell me that my phone will be shipped Monday and they will send me a txt with the shipping number.
I'm a 6/4 and got shipping notification today. Estimated delivery on Wednesday. Hope all the wait has been worth it.
I was told the same thing for in-store buyers. That I would get a text message, saying it had been shipped. I'd say that's BS, as I got an email all the same.
Once again, they don't know what they're talking about.
Has anyone ordered the HTC Incredible through HTC's website? Verizon's website is showing if you purchase the phone today it would ship by July 26, 2010, a little over a month away. I went to HTC US website and and spoke to a represetative. The rep told me that if I ordered the HTC Incredible today I would have it by July 5, 2010. The rep told me that they would be recieving a new shipment on July 2, 2010. It sounds to good to be true. Why the big disparity in shipping dates between Verizon and HTC? Also, the purchase price was cheaper through HTC.

I called Friday to check my order and the rep was very nice, told me that some orders would have a 5-day delay but there was no way to tell if mine was one of those.
I understand that things go wrong, inventory doesn't show up,etc. My only issue with the whole thing is by the time I probably get my phone they will have had my payment for the phone for a month. They shouldn't have charged me until it shipped, or billed it to the billing cycle when the phone is activated.

So just called 611. After being told Wednesday the phone will def ship out friday. And then friday I was told I dont see why it would not ship today.I got a woman who said it should ship tomorrow and you should get your notification tomorrow. I gave her the normal why was I told this and then nothing happened. She said she did not know why they would say that to me but 6/25 should go out by tomorrow. She also said call during business hours tomorrow because they will have an update then.
Exactly my thoughts. I paid $300 before MIR that they got the day I ordered with the promise I would have my phone shipped by 6/30, which isn't looking likely...I'm going to have some words about account credits and whatnot if they breach this contract...

Hope you guys are in a great cell coverage area, Im on my 3rd incredible, non of them have any signal unless im in a big metro area. as a mobile computer it rocks as a phone it sux, trying to get out of this phone and get something I can actually make/receive a call with

At my work in the dining facility NOONE has service with any company.....other than people who own droids from verizon. My buddy has an Inc and has the best reception out of anyone else in the dead zone that we eat at.
mine shipped friday (with 2day air) but already made it to my state on Saturday, if its 2 hours from my home, is it possible that i will get it tomorrow? the ETA is tuesday by 4:30 though.
