Droid Incredible Shipping?

I placed my order on June 15th-- can anyone tell me what the "estimated ship date" was then? I believe it was July 12th, but I'm not sure..
if so.. i'm hearing promising news across this side for july 12th shipping!!

Depends on where you live . Hasnt been promising for me yet tho , I wish everyone best of luck of getting them soon tho , myself included

This is getting old. How is it that people after 6/7 are getting their phone early when people before 6/7 still don't have them? It seems they are calming the Northeast customers since thats where Verizon is based, and than screw the rest!! I only know of one person that got shipped out of Memphis today!

Mine says absolutely nothing about the screen anywhere. It does have the new SKU: ADR6300VW2

I dont know how long the wait will be once the 4th clears once they get the "flood gates open" which the screen issue should solve my guess is a bunch will be shipped and from then on and not much of a wait afterwards so ,, never know

PS my guess is if you still nothing about the LCD its still the samsung screen still too

Ok, so cobbling things together from multiple locations:

I did just find this snipet on page 8 of the Product Safety & Warranty Brochure:

"Use a damp cloth for cleaning, but NEVER use water to clean the LCD screen."

Of course, that could just be a generic text template that they use for all manuals...

6/8 onliner here, with a piece of news for ya'll.

Just got off the phone with VZ CSR, asking why I have begun seeing others here getting Fedex tracking numbers who ordered 6/8 and even 6/9, but mine still shows expected ship date of 7/6. Ready for his answer?

Anyone saying they ordered 6/8 or later and received a tracking number is lying and just trying to cause anger and dissention in the ranks.

So. Now we know.

And furthermore... if your going to take the word of any one CSR then tony the plumber and I have some stuff we'd like to sell you.
Collectively... we have been told thousands of different stories by thousands of different CSR's... and now because you talked to one that fooled you into not being upset because some people are getting their phones that ordered after you, we are all liars?
Do us a favor... Switch your tampon and go join an apple forum.
My little rant might get me flagged... but i'm getting my phone in a day and I'll stick up for the very helpful people on this thread any day.

Ok so, I came back from work today and I got my tracking notice email finally. The only thing is the fed ex service type states "FedEx 2Day Service - Indirect Signature Required" I was under the impression I had received the free overnight shipping? can any1 shine a light on this for me please as perhaps I am unsure of what they mean by free over night shipping.

Purchase Date: 6/7
Original Ship Date: 6/28
Actual Ship Date: 7/1
Supposed Arrival: 7/6

ordered 6/9 online (living in nj), called today and told it shipped via fedex...due on 7/6 at 4:30pm. Sure hope that is accurate, got a tracking number that works too!



-edit- after i submitted this, i got a text stating my order has been delaying for 8 business days and they apologize...but the tracking number does work...time to call 611 again...

Quick question, has anyone been able to go directly to the Fedex facility prior to the first delivery attempt and pick up their phone?

My sister and her husband ordered two Inc and they received their tracking notice today (they ordered on 6/6 in store at 11:30am EST) and delivery is scheduled for Tueday July 6th. They are leaving for vacation Saturday afternoon for a week and I figured if the phone was in the Fedex facility sitting there over the weekend that she might be able to pick up the phone before they attempt to deliver on Tuesday. I know this is *IF* the phone makes it from Memphis to Tampa between today and Saturday morning but if it does and she can pick up both of the phones that would be great.

I called Fedex to inquire about this but the person said that there has to be at least 1 delivery attempf first before someone can pick it up and that is a requirement from Verizon directly. I would have to call Verizon and have them authorized a special pick up in order for my sister to pick it up on Saturday before a delivery attempt.

Does this sound right?

I haven't done this with a phone, but other signature requiring packages. Just call them, make sure you have a tracking number, and request that they hold it at the closest facility. I had to call back the next morning, when I wanted to pick up the package, to make sure it was held off the truck. Was surprisingly simple.

I ordered mine on June 12th, and after talking with verizon two days ago, they said their estimate (..and the CSR even admitted that it was a very rough estimate..) is that they thought it would ship around the 15th of July.
