The wife put it on the charger...unfortunately, another 6 hours or so before I'll have it in my hands...

So, the wait begins. I just got a quick question, people are saying they have to charge it for 6 hours or so before they can use it. Are you saying u can't use the DINC when its charging?

I haven't seen or heard of anyone ordering directly from HTC so its hit or miss. If Amazon has it in stock, that would be the fastest. Yet ordering from Verizon will allow you to use a new every two discount if you have one and get the insurance, which for this phone I would not do without as i am a bit of a klutz.

You can use it while it charges. You can use it without charging too (depending on the level of charge in the phone out of the box). There was a really good thread about batteries and care.

thanks daethwing188, i just got a few more questions. I got the 29.99 PKG DATA PLAN so is that unlimited internet usage? never had a data plan before so i don't know. Also, when im using apps like meebo, or aim, does that count into my sms or messaging texts i get a mth? and lastly. is there any july 2nd people out there!.

Here's a few answers for you. Yes the 29.99 is unlimited data, which is internet etc. Those types of apps don't count toward SMS, they are considered data. You won't get charged texts for it.

So there is a big possibility that they are finally catching up and we could, get it within 10 more days. thanks for answering the questions. Heres another question. Did anyone buy sd micro chip for their phones yet? Im planning to get an Sandisk SD micro 16gb Class 4.

I believe that the phone comes with a 2GB card, though I do plan on getting a larger one in the near future, once I have a better idea of how much space gets used with normal use

dillon_panther111, did you order your accessories with your phone and both from VZW? If not then... oh. If so then, I thought that they were supposed to be shipped with the phone.

That’s if you use Verizon exchange connector. It’s not necessary if your exchange uses https or another connection method. Ask your IT person.

My sympathies friend, my sympathies. The wait will grind upon your soul until nothing remains. Hopefully HTC will be putting out the Sony superLCD and Samsung AMOLED models quickly enough that the que dies down. I'm also praying that more people drop their VZW orders for AmazonWireless orders so the cue shortens up.

I emailed CS yesterday to ask if my DINC was shipping early. They told me I was not on the advanced list. It arrives the next day. Thanks to the CS, my surprise was doubled after being crushed yesterday.

I ordered them through amazon. I waited awhile and of course they pretty much got here within 2 days after I ordered them. They were much cheaper there than through the manufacturer.
