I am sorry to bring this issue up, as there are literally 20 other forum postings with the same question, but not a single one with an answer.
How can I fix my Droid Maxx so it connects to WIFI again after the 4.4.4 update?
Every single Verizon Response is the same: "Did you get your phone wet? You should have it replaced." It's very frustrating because it's extremely obvious that it's not a hardware issue. The Droid Maxx was the BEST phone I've ever had, and no phone I've tried to replace it with comes close.
I've gone on Ebay to buy one, and their value has gone up exponentially (They go for $200 now). But even those mention in the description that the WIFI does not work with the 4.4.4 update.
Does anybody have a working solution to this? I know that there is no way to roll it back to 4.2.2. but this is so rediculous, and I do not want to go back to an IPhone just to get a phone that lasts all day and doesn't turn into a furnace like any other Android phone I've tried besides the Maxx.
