droid maxx location issue

My droids gps and any app that uses location services, thinks that I am in Hillsboro, NJ but I live in New York. I have tried turning the location services on and off and changing the accuracy settings. If you know how to fix this problem or have had this problem please let me know! Any help is appreciated
