Anyone got the update? I'm having problems downloading apps and my power control widget disappeared. Anyone else?

UPDATE: Did a factory reset and phone is working properly now.

I got the update and I noticed that my phone runs a lot faster now. No problems here

It does seems faster. But these problems are bringing down the positives. I really can't update my apps and my power control widget disappearing is a glaring omission right now. I also get these random apps I uninstalled on my home screen when I reboot my phone. Something wrong is going on.

Does this update have android 4.2.2 or is it just a security thing?

Did the update this morning on both mine and my wife's M. Worked fine on both. I'm stock but rooted and the wife's is totally stock.

Phones seem to be running good and no problems updated apps. I've done a few updates today after the phone update.

Okay now its weird, random apps are making folders. My dialer app made a folder with my contacts app when I did not touch it. This is weird. My power toggle widget which I downloaded today disappears and reappears. Something is really wrong.

If you are unlocked and rooted, I would boot into recovery and wipe the cache and dalvik cache. You might also need to wipe data, but I always save that as a last resort.

If you are just stock, no root, do a factory reset.

If those don't help, contact your service provider and tell them their update broke your phone.

I factory reset my phone and it seems to working fine now. I lost all my game data though. I literally unlocked everything in Into The Dead.

The version is 98.18.78.en.US. I'm trying to decide if I want to install.
Found on Verizon site @ http://support.verizonwireless.com/pdf/system_update/razrm.pdf[/URL
? Data Metering now offers categorized

displayed correctly when using Circle

? SMS messages will be correctly
displayed once they are read
? Security has been improved and added

ETA: Well, I went for it. Backed up everything and installed update, a few minutes ago.
So far, so good.

Just my thought. Is there a reason why we shouldn't? The og RAZRS made it 4.1 from 2.3. We are on 4.1, 1 update behind the current version. Why not? Motorola has been good on software updates for all of its late 2011/2012 line (og DROID Razrs) till now.

Second day on 98.18.78.en.US.
No issues.
The only thing I have noticed is "suggestions" added to my smart actions.

Has anyone noticed anything else?

I had suggestions before the update. By the way I would not use smart actions. It slowed down my phone alot. If you disable it your phone will be much faster. At least in my case.

I disabled it because it didn't do anything I couldn't do for myself.
