Lucky you I just had number 5 sent to me oh well waiting for an HTC beast so I don't want to waste an upgrade. But if this next one has issues ill push the issue

I just had a replacement sent last night, I assume it is a D1, would be nice to get an X or D2 though

Hey, I got my D1 swapped for a brand new D2. Its simply a stock shortage thing.

I just called my D1 in and they tried all tests and the droid failed. They did not offer me a D2 or anything they said they will send out a refurb D1 to me in 2 days. How did you get the new one?

in the thread he posted he said it just showed up with a note saying due to shortages here is a D2

Just showed up.


They said they would NOT send me a D2 even after I joked with them.


But then a D2 showed up stating they ran out of D1's

Well I just got a d2 replacement just showed up. The email said I would get an a855 like the physical keyboard much more

whoops think. I broke my phone. Restored back to FRG01B, did a factory reset and now I have no verizon network connection. haha.

I had a choice between the Incredible and the Ally. I decided to take the Incredible. I am glad that I did. It was not brand new but it was better then nothing. Got a charger and an extended battery out of the deal.

Welp, replacement device on the way. Couldn't get the damn thing reactivated. Hopefully they don't notice my little accident at the bottom of the screen.

Yep mine shipped from tx kinda surprised when I opened the box would rather had the choice and gotten a dinc. But I wont complain it was free

Shipment confirmation came earlier. Coming from Fort Worth, TX and should be here by 3pm tomorrow. Guess I'll leave a note for the fed ex person since I won't be here and hopefully they'll just leave it.

Nope, they require a signature from someone so no they will leave you a card telling you they were there and how to get your package (or more likely when they will attempt delivery again). They can't just leave valuable packages like that.

Leave it they wont do but you can always drop by the fedex hub in your area to pick it up I almost did but out was delivered the same day

not that it matters to me because I will be home tomorrow but I got an automated call from fedex saying that a package was being delivered tomorrow and if I was not going to be there to sign then I could leave a dated note to leave it.

I believe since it says "indirect signature required", it isn't quite as strict as one requiring a direct signature.

Yeah but if you do that you are responsible if the phone is stolen. Does VZW ship allowing an Indirect signature?
