I can't hear video anymore, but I know the speaker still works. I've already done a FDR, and checked all the volume settings..... Now I need anyone's help.

Re: DROID TURBO: 5.1 Lollipop Update

Raleigh Voight - not sure if it will help but I have had issues with my Turbo and the sound not working - years ago another phone had the same problem and the fix was to download Audio Manager app and set volume there one time. All problems stopped - same thing worked on my Turbo.

No idea why but it seemed to work for me

Thank both of you for your response. I've tried several videos, streaming and ones I had and nothing.

I'm try that app now.

Have you tried changing the volume from Settings>Sound & Notification?

Roger that, tried everything. The audio manager was a no go. Grrr

So it's a problem specifically with videos? Do other "media" like music play? Is it app-specific? Have you tried different video-playing apps?

Plays through head phones, no mp3 or steaming music works either

Different notifications, I can hear. When it first booted up, I can hear the droid song in the initial boot. Very weird. Next stop is Verizon

Re: DROID TURBO: 5.1 Lollipop Update

So we know that "Media volume" is up, but no matter what video or mp3 plays, it won't play via the speaker...We know the speaker is fine because we get notifications and system sounds from it...and you've tried a factory reset...

Yup, at that point I'd be on my way to VZW too. Sorry we couldn't help, bro...

Yep. I'd take it in.

All of my audio, notifications and ringtones are waaaaaaay lower. Got off the phone with Motorola Level II support. Wiped Cache, but problem is still there. Was fine before "upgrade". Now I can't hear my ringer if my phone isn't a foot from my ear.
