Thank god for the removal tip!!! That thing was driving me nuts!

To get the Google App bar off your home screen.
Disable your Goggle App, wait a minute then re-enable.
Re-enabling does Not put the bar back on home screen.

Ok so you might want to try this...
Make sure you are at the home screen.
Tap on a blank area on the screen and hold until you see Wallpapers, Widgets and setting.
Click on the settings.
Google Search=include Google search bar on the home screen.
Make sure that you turn this off.
This should help.
I myself can not stand that bar on my home screen hope this helps everyone!
