Droid Turbo Screen brightness and text issue?

So I was using my Droid Turbo earlier today when it suddenly went VERY dim. I have my brightness setting up to its highest and when I move my hand over it, I can barely see the time or symbols. Another issue that occurred at the same time is that text on the screen becomes extremely blurry when scrolling or when it moves. Is this a common problem or is there a known fix to this?

Edit: Okay so in trying to troubleshoot it myself I have noticed that icons also tend to blur when moving, leaving a streak behind for about a half second. It seems rather disorienting. Could it be an internal failure?
The screen has an offwhite/yellowish tint to it so I am unsure if its just a bug.

You power cycled it, right? In an attempt to troubleshoot the problem yourself, and the problem persisted?

Do you have auto brightness on? Sometimes that can get glitchy. If you do, toggle it on and off a few times

I've had this happen too. Try enabling /disabling a few times and restart your phone. Worked for me...

I tried that and didn't fix the problem unfortunately. Would this be a fix if I didn't use auto-brightness? I usually keep it on a set brightness anyways.

I hate auto brightness with the burning intensity of a thousand red hot suns. To be clear, I do not use or like auto-brightness. So, like you I adjust mine manually; usually keep it at around 90%. If turning auto on and back off, and adjusting it manually from low to high still doesn't fix your brightness problem, I'd take it in to your local VZM store and see if they can pull a rabbit from a hat. You might need a replacement.
