Relax, deep breaths...

There is no guarantee as to what time exactly the update will be available. I'd recommend just waiting to try in the morning.

I want to say thank you to everybody in here for helping out with manualy updating GB. First time i have loaded any OS and it went smooth. (well had a brain fart and boot looped the first time) but everything worked out great. Thanks for all the help.

only if you're rooted, as per this thread:

if you're not rooted i believe you need to revert to stock froyo

according to posts earlier in this thread it won't appear if you're running .588, and the difference is that the official OTA update will have little bug fixes and security fixes which you may not even notice but many people simply find it comforting knowing they're rocking the official update rather than one they got on the internet. if i were u i'd say screw it, go back to froyo, and get the official update, but that's just me. if your gingerbread is running nicely then theres no need to fix what isn't broken

well first you gotta go back to froyo, then it will show up when u pull the update. mine is downloading as we speak, and it appears that everybody else's is as well.
