Another oddity... you are in NY and your phone is coming from Cali? I thought there were "regional warehouses"? If they are all coming from Cali then the west coast folks should get their orders quicker than the east coast...
One more question - phone or internet order?
i told you guys the warehouses out east are probally out so the told the one in cali to ship to the people out east

After hearing all these horror stories i felt bad about posting my good luck with CS so far.
Could be simpler then that. Ontario happens to be a pretty big "state" in a pretty big country named Canada, which would be close to NY.
They come from California. My phone is being delivered today in Michigan and originated in Ontario, CALIFORNIA and I live just across a river from Ontario, Canada.

yes, they did. and the wonderful robot on vzwsupport twitter told me it was impossible to change it. this morning it finally showed up at the local station but it hasn't gone out for delivery. i called fedex and some idiot promised me it would go out today. if it doesn't i'm going to be mega pissed. this has been a disaster on customer service from day one.
Mine is oddly also at the local FedEx office, but not showing out for delivery. A little strange, but it wouldn't be the first time they sent trucks out for the crazy early overnight deliveries then pulled them back to resupply and deliver the rest. I trust FedEx to actually deliver when they say they will, for the most part.
Phone should be here Friday!... Too bad I woke up this morning and realized it was a dream. Not cool. Apparently the droid x has now entered my subconscious.

finally went out for delivery. just one more thing to make the blood pressure rise. i'm home this morning for other reasons but would be nice to get it this am before i have to go to work. we'll see!
Well, that's good news for me... I ordered same date. However I did Internet order. I hope this doesn't matter because to me it should be first come first server no matter what the process. Anyhow, I still have not received my email notification and the order update still shows as Sept. 7.

My luck will be that I will get a defective one too... so then I will have to return it and wait again for replacement. Same happened with my Storm when I got it.

i ordered mine the 23rd and haven't heard anything! so dumb that people who ordered later are getting theirs sooner! i'm jealous.. enjoy your phone! 
damn payton your cute an hey man i as well had a dream about the damn phone the worse part is my mom walked in while i was sleeping an said here heres a package opened it up an i guess i ordered a wireless router from comcast ugh so disappointed
Its a shame that they are on this bad of a back order. But when everyone gets theirs you'll know why! Good lucks guys hope you enjoy your phone when you get it if you haven't already

Payton - it wasn't his phone he ordered on the 26th... it was his replacement phone.
phone is out for delivery as of 7am this morning...soooo excited hopefully i get it before i leave for work
