I hope they are shipping orders from the 25th. I ordered mine on the 26th and am patiently waiting.

ah that could be why your order went in first thing wensday morning mine went in late wensday
i ordered the 25th an it hasent been sent yet but were are you located that might help on figuring out wether youll get it early or not
My Droid X shipped from West Chester, PA and I live on Maui and it was shipped exactly seven days (not business days) from the date of my order. It did take an extra day to get out here, so FedEx 2 day is what I got and it took a third day, only because I wasn't around to sign for it. I've read that other people talked their VZW cs agent into getting overnight shipping for free, so good luck!
I live in Maryland.
Ordered online on 8/22 @ 9PM.
Got confirmation email immediately.
Expected ship date is 9/7.
I was really hoping to have gotten it by now. Everyone was talking about how the East Coast was getting them early and I am only 2 hours from West Chester's location, but what can you do? I think I am going to get screwed by Labor Day and get it Tuesday which is Verizon's deadline for my phone.

When my sister ordered, she had a ship date of 9/9 and she got notice that it was shipped today. She's stoked.
It breaks my heart to see all these orders placed on the 24th and 25th being shipped already. Why did I post in/read this thread? 
first off im sorry you live in ohmaha lol an second you might get yers early not really sure tho cuz yer in the middle of the us ill let you know when i get mine an you should get yours a little after me
ohhh, now i'm mad. why are people who ordered their phones 2-3 days after me getting theirs shipped before me?! this is complete bs!

got some good news finally! i checked the order status again (after it had been temporarily down for like, ever) and it gave me a tracking number! so i checked fedex and it's currently 'in transit' and should be here by friday @ 7 pm! so finally, i can quit whining and quit bothering my blackberry using boyfriend with my android problems, hahaha.

I was pretty surprised I'm getting mine tomorrow. The hope is that it arrives with the 10 am fedex delivery (had it sent to my office, hope my boss doesn't mind). I have already informed the front desk gal to make sure she runs it back to me. My window mount should be there tomorrow or friday too.
Cowboys- I am sure you'll get the notice w/in the next 24 hours. That would be weak if you didn't.
(I may miss my storm2 though while I get used to the X, I'm just saying)
