Droid X Shipping on August 23!

Come on...this is torture.
I ordered on the 23rd and have not gotten the email or seen an update on the status page on verizonwireless.com.

Don't worry, you will get yours. The status page never updated on Verizon's site for me. Even after I received my shipping notification.

wtf i ordered the 25th about what time are you guys recieveing the shiping confermation

Mine came at 7:15-7:30am today and I ordered on the 22nd.

Verizon requires at least one delivery attempt to the shipping address. FedEx will NOT let you intercept the package at the FedEx facility. At least they aren't supposed to.

Received e-mail at 10:31 AM. Verizon's website still is saying the 9th, and the package hasn't been picked up by FedEx yet.

Freakin' Labor Day... had I remembered to put in the code for Free Overnight Shipping I would have it tomorrow. Instead, I have to wait until Tuesday. Freakin' Labor Day.

I ordered from a VZW store on 8/22 in the afternoon. I haven't recieved any info yet as to when its shipping, but I can wait.

I do have to say that whenever my Storm 1 beeps with a new email, I jump up and check it hoping that there will be good news.

Got my x this morning. Not sure if i am sold just yet, lots to get used to. Also, has anyone else had one show up with the red x on the phone and battery? CS is sending me a new one, so no worries with me. Just wondering.

Battery life is horrible, using ATK, gonna do some research!

Finally got my notice!

Ordered: Aug 22
ETA at order date: Sept 7
Notification/tracking #: Sept 1
ETA of delivery: Sept 3

I'm in Louisiana and ordered online as an upgrade. Switching from a Storm 2. Also an interesting note, the "check order status" website still says ETA of Sept. 7. Just confirms what I read here, ignore the website and wait for that email!

On vehicle, my sister is my neighbor hopefully she can catch them before I have to track it all over creation when I get off work at 6p.

EDIT: My sister signed for it, now if I can wait til 6p to get it!
