DROID X Users: What's Going to be Your Next Phone?

LTE For Me

Ill most definitely get the first LTE Android device out. Should be 1st Qtr of next year of not sooner.

I won't necessarily be buying the first LTE phone, but one of the first. The first phone that has:

  • LTE
  • Dual Core Processor
  • At least 4" screen size
  • Dual Cameras
  • Must be able to be Rooted
  • good battery life
  • good aesthetics (probably not from Motorola)
  • good phone. Yea. a device that makes/receives/holds phone calls!
  • good keyboard would be nice but not required (probably not from Motorola)
  • gorilla glass screen

will be my next phone. Don't care how much it costs me.

I'm keeping my wife, my dog and my X. No need to get something new every few months. I'm a committed kind of a guy. There's always something better coming out. I like to enjoy what I have.

well iam keeping the dog, the x and getting rid of the wife especially for a new phone!! lol!!! but if the iphone comes it will be that or possible the new HTC with slide out keyboard thats coming!!

Iphone when released on verizon

Definitely an iPhone. My biggest frustration is with the Google calendar. Duplicates events and is very frustrating. I'm afraid to sync it with my Outlook for fear it will wipe everything out :(. I just started a new thread. Anyone having this problem?:

The iPhone is a child's toy compared to a high-end Android device. My gf has one and it sucks, the apps are better on Android and there's a lot more you can do with it IMO.

That being said, I'm going to stick it out with the DX for a while and root it, customize it how I want. That should hold me over since I can't upgrade until this time next year and I'm not paying $500+ for a phone again. Besides... once you get the best phone on the market, another one comes along two months later that beats it. It's a losing battle unless you have a nice salary to pay for a new device all the time.
