droidmod 1.0

2.0.1 stock rom I believe will UNroot you and bring you back to 2.0.1 out of the box. IF you want to get back to where you where right after your rooted, use your original nandroid backup.

Edit: or update.zip, as DA6 just mentioned.

I just ran the 2.0.1 stock rom out of the DMUpdater. It brought me back to stock but left all of my old apps installed.

Guess its good to have the nandroid backup though, in case I venture into the world of more customized roms and completely screw it up ;)

i've run stock 2.0.1 (stock) before, it completely wipes out root, back to stock recovery image, no nandroid backup involved; however the update.zip, etc and the now useless nandroid backup folder will be on your SD card so if your taking your droid to verizon be sure to get rid of those as well.... also you will lose your microphone button, but just go into manage applications delete all those .com apps, powerdown then reboot bam your done.

I love the functionality and the ease of use that DM provides, but I've started to get random reboots. I've had 3 so far today. They're pretty annoying. It boots up faster than usual, but still.
I also noticed that occasionally, the live wallpaper will glitch, and everything on top will track onto the wallpaper. So if I swipe from one homescreen to the next, all the applications create little tracks of where they were. This is mainly with the grass wallpaper, and the tracks only form on the bottom half of the screen, where the grass would be. Putting it to sleep and waking it back up usually fixes the problem, or changing wallpapers.

Also, I'm not sure if this is because of DM, but I've been getting the names of people I text switched up a lot more recently. I had this before rooting and installing DM, but way less. It's sort of confusing when you're texting contact A to be told that everything they've said was from contact B.

This is pretty awesome. I am running the 1.0 with live wallpapers and a smoked glass theme and even live wallpapers downloaded from the market and the phone is still stable and quick. I am sure it could be quicker if I get rid of the theme and live wallpapers but for now its fun and different.

Only thing I could want is next to the app drawer is to have the phone and browser button.

is anyone still running this or it just me? i still like it,its just simple and easy to go back to stock.

Your the only one droidweasel, how have you been? You should try koush or ultimate droid 8.0 you would like both.

im good, been busy with new laptop and work. i am waiting out the official 2.1. planning on switching to sprint for that badass new phone they got coming out. we will see.

Also still on this, no complaints, its quick and stable. I always like trying new things though. Have been too busy to search for anything unfortunately. If its as easy as this then maybe I'll try it but hard to beat this.

i switched from DM for koush, i was running at 800 - 1000 and DM was a little toasty at times. but i think my battery seemed better with DM...
