Dropbox and Manual

When I first set up my SG3, I was in a hurry and skipped the dropbox setup, figuring I would be able to go back and set it up later. Now, I cant find anywhere that allows me to run the setup (I'd like to do it through the setup so that I get the free 50g for a year). Does anyone know bow to do this?

Also, why don't we have a manual? Verizon had the full manual available online as a pdf before their phone even launched. I loomed at it for instructions regarding the above, but it talks about a "setup" app that I don't have for some reason.

Thanks for any help.

AT&T and Verizon opted out of the dropbox promotion.... so for us, we are SOL...

If you're on at&t you don't get 50GB free. If you're not on at&t, you're posting in the wrong place.

As for the phone's manual, its been available for weeks: forums.androidcentral.com/t-galaxy-s-iii/181828-official-t-s3-user-manual.html

Like other posters said, no Dropbox deal.

But Samsung does have several manuals available for the different versions of the phone.

AT&T Version:

International Version:
http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/c..._UM_EU_Icecream_Eng_Rev.1.0_120607_Screen.pdf

I included AT&T and the International versions because I believe the international version manual contains more info (haven't verified...just what I've heard).

Hope this helps.

Thank you KreepyKen, that helps a ton. That is exactly what I was looking for.

Sent Can u store apps in dropbox from SG3 and nexus7?

Yes, as long as you have the apk file, you can copy it to dropbox. I do it all the time. If it's something you have installed on your phone, you may not be able to copy it directly to dropbox. What you have to do is back up your apps. If you're rooted, you can use Titanium Backup. If you're not rooted, you can use App Backup and Restore (won't back up your data, though).

You can then copy or move the apk file from your backup folder into your dropbox folder.

I like doing this with apps not available in the Play Store. If I have to wipe my phone, I don't have to run around looking for Swype and Amazon App Store installers...I just sign into Dropbox and install them from there.

Links:
Titanium Backup
App Backup and Restore

I've used both and they both work great.
