Officially happened. Dropped not once but twice. The first was a butterfinger drop from at least 3 feet with my Samsung Aramid cover. Fell face down, no cracks inside and outside. The second was my dog's big tail fault. It caught the charging cable and hit the ground. Not sure how it fell as I was somewhere else but once again the screens are okay. The hinges too. Now charging the phone in a safe and secure area.

I ordered the new spen case by Spigen but now may have doubts on switching cases seeing how the Aramid case has protected my phone twice so far.

Sucks that it happened, but great to hear that it came out of it with no damage! :D

Once bitten twice shy ;)

I've been looking at the Samsung Aramid case too if I but the Fold³ , so it's good to hear it's protected your phone.

Good to hear all is well.. I dropped my phone outside in middle of street waist high on the camera side.. At the time had only a skin on phone.. Just a very minor scuff on edge nothing bad with camera which has skin... Using the Samsung silicone case now to switch I up which I recommend too..

My prayers go out to you. I hope that doesn't happen to me. Since this phone is so heavy I bet it made a really loud sound.

Now I've joined the club of those who have dropped their phones. Yesterday, I was trying to carry my phone on my hand along with laundry in the bathroom. Dropped the phone on the tile floor...gasp! the only damage I see are dings/scratches on top and bottom edge of the exposed hinge. It's right on the rounded corner of the top and bottom edge of the hinge.

Samsung Care+ covers for accidental damage but have to pay the $240 deductible, right? I don't even know if it's worth replacing since it seems minor and everything works fine. Can the hinge be replaced by itself or it's attached to the inner screen and therefore they need to replace that too?
